Vol 1: Chapter four
It was another day for me as a bird in this different world. And unlike the main character of famous novels, I didn't start exploring this world.
I mean why do I need to explore while Im happy in my mother's side. She loved me and care for me just like my mom in my pass life. But now I like it most cause this time around my mother is beautiful unlike my mother in my pass. I just thank the god that she wasn't here. hehe.
And this day just work like the other days. Repeating the routine again and again make me bored.
"Mom, Can we do other things today aside from finding food and laying around like whole day?"
"Ahh, Why son you became tired of watching the view from the tree?"
"Yeah, Sure. How about we hunt some meat for protein "
"What?, Son we don't eat meat .
Were not carnivore"
"So , what will we do . Mom"
" Oh , I got an Idea . "
"What?"
"Just follow me"
Mom dives down and spreads her magnificent blue wings. And as she said I followed her where ever she go. And trying to outrun her but my hundred failures makes me lost hope that someday I can outrun her. So Im now contented of being a being in the back of a beautiful bird like my mom.
As we fly in the dense forest I heard some weird noises. Noises that I don't want to hear again . Sounds that full of betrayal and greed . A sound of a Human language!.
"Hey, did you level up?" The mysterious sound said.
I didn't know why mother is not paying attention to them but Im a bit nervous.
And if I recall in my previous life there were no levels. What do they mean levels is it like the game level thing?
Well, I don't know but I better tell mom to accelerate so we will be far from here.
" Mom! We better accelerate, Im quite hungry"
"No , Problem son"
And thus we fly faster than before and ended up in a hill. It was facing the dense forest where the tree we lived in was located.
"Son, Did you see that tree?"
"Yeah"
"Its beautiful right? Its as if you'll fall for its beauty. I really hope that a tree that beautiful won't be destroyed so that you and I can live peacefully in the most beautiful place on this world."
"Yes, Mom I hope so too."
The scenery is really unexplainable it's like a rock floating in a water. Cause its an impossible scenery. With it's enchanting huge bark to the branches that touches the sky. Its really breath taking.
"Grrrrrrrooooll"
"Opps, I think we have to eat now mom, hehe"
"Yeah Im a bit hungry too"
"Whats the menu for today , Mom?" Speaking in English
"There you are again with your weird language"
"I just got excited, cause its our first outing so food must be special"
"Well, I didn't prepare anything new but we can hunt for meat after we ,eat caterpillars " Mom said while staring at me .
" Really? I thought you said were not carnivore?"
"So what if were not carnivore we will become if you wanted to, haha"
"Yeah as you always says"
"Birds are always free" we both said
Then we laugh at each other. A short moment of happiness but it's a treasure for me. And maybe for mom too.
And when we finish eating the caterpillars. Mom and I plans to head back to the tree while searching for meat at the way.
And suddenly my mother stops flying and sneak peek at the back of the Branch of a medium size tree. While signaled me that there is a meat down there. So I followed her and hide in the branch near where my mom hides.
"Oink, Oink"
Noises down on the tree where were hiding are becoming more loud. So I take a pick on what really is the meat mom was talking about.
"HoLlly!! sHiTtTt !!! "
I said that because of shock on what I saw . Its a huge pig with a size like a bulldozer , and two long teeth that like a razor sharp blade and it has some blood stains. And a nose looks like as solid as rock. And with its thick hide. My claws and beaks are not enough even with moms claws and beak too. Its totally impossible for us to hunt this pig.
I slowly walk to mom's position.
"Mom , It look's so dangerous lets find something else."
"No son I can handle it . And its time for you to know magic."
"What? Magic is real"
"Yeah , But its hard to explain so watch carefully, I will use my strongest magic Attack so observed it !"
"Yes , Mom"
As my mother opens her beak a chilling cold blew up on the direction of where is mother mouth are. And the cold suddenly form a spear like Ice and its tip is white like snow.
And my mother realesed it to the direction of the ugly pig. before it touches the pig , my mom looks like very tired but still fly in my direction and hug me. I don't know why but the usual warm hug turn a bit cold.
And a huge explosion has explode and it looks like it comes from the direction where the ugly pig are.
Mom release me from her tight hug and as I open my eyes a huge explosion crater that has a diameter of 100m and at the center of it is a frozen huge ugly pig. And not only that all the living organisms and matter in the area of 300m diameter from the crater are all frozen except me and my mom.
"Now son that was magic, Do you think im strong son?" saying in a weak voice.
"Yes mom your super strong. Now stand up and lets feast on our prey".
But as I can see the ugly pig is frozen solid. And It means we still have to wait for it to melt.
"Mom, I think you over did it "
