Chapter seventeen

I followed the way the giant bird pointed and finally got out of the soul chilling cave I entered. It's a fearful trip but I have reap a lot of benefits from the cav trip .

Not only the ring that I got from that skeleton , But I also got a new passive skill " Cold resistance " . I can finally feel that Im starting to get stronger bit by bit . I just have to Finnish this test and go back In my Home and meet my new family .

The test only have 2 days left before its over. I didn't feel the time pass because Im inside of the cold cave . But can I find it in two days? I might find a cave and be stuck there for a week time that will lead me to failing the test . Senior Laze made for me .

I end up thinking on talking to some locals in this mountains to make sure that the cave that I enter is the one with immortal bird. If only that giant bird back there in frozen cave was the one Im searching then I might go now and relax at home. , Huh

Back then I pick one of its feathers that drop on the floor to try if that bird is really what Im searching for but the quest window didn't add it to the count so that's not what the bird Im searching for.

And then then I suddenly heard a human voice . Three human voice in particular.

So I decided to follow them since I can't talk to them in my current state . Maybe they know where the Immortal bird lives.

But they seem to be some slave traders that hunts elves for money. And as Laze said that all human are now players from my world. I kinda reminds me on what Im doing for that bastard governor. But In this life Im trying to change my self bit by bit and forget what I was in that world . And seeing someone like them is like they are calling to be killed by me.

" Roger, this is where they said we can find an secluded elf village , Im quite jealous to the bastards in that got there elves fight for them . This is our chance to have one."

" But isn't it bad to in slave a being ?"

" What are you talking about ! Its not the Earth where enslavement is banned. And the one were enslaving is not human but elves. In even in Earth people e*****e other animal which is not from human race. Just like dogs , You think they are not enslaving it? your wrong Roger in the situation that one benefits from another while the other is not , it means they are enslaved. They do that so that they can use it to be stronger or richer , so we are only being human if we do this . So don't be that emotional with this trivial things."

The older human explain to the one he calls Roger.

It seems that the younger one is hesitant to do this lets left him alive but I have to wait and see where the elves are so that I can gather information about the immortal Bird Im searching.

As the sun sets down , another day have passed . Its only one day before the test will end and this two humans are still sleeping imI have to wake them up no matter what.

I approach near them and I was shocked that the window popped up when Im near there sleeping bodies.

I didn't expect that I can enter a empty human ( No player) And use it as a physical body . But when I'm about to click the yes button a rain of arrows fall from above hitting the empty human vessels and if this goes on this vessels will be destroyed and can't be use as a vessel.

Just a few moments later from the arrow rain a group of elves were carrying the humans in north direction. And I think this is the best chance for me to go to there village and find the cave where the immortal bird resides .

During the walk I was expecting to get some info from there chats but the almost hour walk is like when Im alone in the icy cave entrance no chat only there foot steps were making sounds. It so strange that this five elves didn't talk about there catch, what will they do to them or just chat to brake the awkwardness.

But after an hour of walking . The five elves finally stop.

"Open It for me!"

said the elf that carries out the two human vessels.

The other Three elves stand beside a huge tree. ( But of course Yggdrasil is bigger). They are blabbering some strange language non stop an a light slowly forming in the center or the Four elves and then the five of them enter with the two vessels carried by the huge elf . And I also wanted to enter and see there village.

That's what I thought but when Im inside Its all dark. And at the first time they talk to each other .

" Griblle , Is this two humans worth it to be left in here ? What if the spirit that is controlling them comes back and rob us?"The thin looking elf said to the one carrying the bodies.

" This can be used as physical body when our elders dies and the tree will prevent any spirit from entering here if the entrance is locked. "

" Oh that's a relief. Im just wanted to insure that the village's most valuable treasure is secure. "

" The Feather of the Immortal bird is sealed in a room here and it's protected with traps even when we go there we might die".

Im thankful for that thin elf that he talk about that now I can have the Feather without facing the immortal bird. Im such a lucky guy.

" Now, Roland open up the lights!!"
