“Now tell me, Alpha Magnus. Whom did you see that night?”
Two identical girls in different outfits were a strange sight to watch, it was like Catherine had brought her clone to the court. The matter of twins wasn’t a big deal, but I had seen such a striking resemblance for the first time in my life.
The shock of the court officials aside, Alpha Magnus lost his footing briefly and stumbled backwards; any word used for his startled condition wasn’t descriptive enough. He was under the heavy storm of revelations, unable to believe his eyes anymore.
“I-It’s impossible!”
Catherine chuckled, blinking her eyes rapidly, “yes, it’s unbelievable that everyone accused me wrongly of the statement of a five-year-old boy, disregarding the fact that it’s easy to trick a kid.”
