My hysterical plea for help got the instant response as Raymond broke the door and came in, he was huffing in anger.
“We agreed that you will stay away from Shyl. What are you doing here, King Maddox?”
Beta Allen jumped inside through the window and supported me to the bed, he spoke immediately.
“You shouldn’t have allowed him to stay here, Alpha. We can’t trust this man!”
King Maddox stared at me for half a day, unfazed by the shouting, his golden orbs were filled with nameless expressions. He snarled at Allen viciously before leaving, he took two steps back in fear.
