Senior elder Feng Xiao barged into the large top most office of the pellet association building. This was the first time in history that the chairman's office, the most revered in the entire building had been barged into like this.
Panting and his face trickling with sweat, elder Feng Xiao saw three old distinguished figures hunched up around an exquisite round wooden table at the center of the room. The beautiful round table was littered with numerous opened scrolls and parchments and its occupants were in the middle of an important discussion, talking in low serious tones.
When the door was cast aside with a loud bang, all the three elder seniors looked up wearing heavy annoyed looks, visibly enraged at being disrupted. Elder Feng Xiao however did not seem to mind offending the three greatest existences of the pellet association, in fact he beamed when he saw the three of them together.
The first elder nearest to him was the first to utter out his lamentations. Senior master Su Bihai, 2nd deputy chairman of the pellet association was truly angered.
"Just where do you think this is to barge in just like this. Has your head been hit by a tonne of garbage!"
"Get out at once! Wait for me outside in the hall. You better have a satisfactory answer for this unruly behavior.!"
"Just get rid of him and let's get back to the task old Bihai, don't get distracted. We were just on the verge of a vital breakthrough." Senior master Shen Kong, the 1st deputy of the pellet association scratched his tall white beard as he got back to the scroll he had been concentrating on. He did not spare a second look at the rude instructor who has barged in at such a vital juncture.
The oldest elder who sat on a conspicuous golden chair overseeing the proceedings looked at elder Feng Xiao's flustered expression and sighed. Senior master & Chairman Zeng Xiao was the top existence in Red Eagle Pellet Association. He was one of the most revered master pellet refiners in the entire Red Eagle clan. His contributions to the way of pellet refining were unrivaled and he also hailed from the prestigious Xiao Family, one of the three founding families of Red Eagle Town. He was also elder Feng Xiao's maternal uncle.
"Speak up Feng Xiao, just what could have made you so flustered to dare interrupt your superiors in such an unruly manner."
"I deeply apologize seniors, but this matter is deeply important and couldn't wait a minute longer."
Elder Feng Xiao voiced his apologies as he quickly approached the three leaders of the pellet association. In excitement he put the previous results of Zhu Yuan which he had carried with him down on the exquisite table over the scrolls that the three elders had been debating on, much to the items of the two senior deputy chairmen.
"Esteemed elders, have a look. These are the results of a practitioner I was evaluating just now. Look at how detailed the answers are, the descriptions, the explanations. This is a level of aptitude rarely seen!"
Senior Su Bihai merely threw an unconcerned look and scoffed at the excited instructor.
"Hmph... So what! Isn't this only natural. Our strict evaluations are put in place so that we the pellet association can only take in the best of the best."
Senior Shen Kong & Senior Zeng Xiao briefly picked up Zhu Yuan's parchments and went through them before putting them down.
"Hmm.. yes, this practitioner displays a great in-depth knowledge and aptitude. This is a rare mind."
"But is this why you have interrupted our important sitting? We were on the verge of a breakthrough in regards to the black toad repelling detoxification pellet.;" Senior Shen Kong berated with an annoyed tone. He was eager for elder Feng Xiao to disappear from their sight.
Feng Xiao did not seem to mind the hostile reception and wore a mischievous smile.
"What if I told you the participant is only fifteen years of age.. "
Three gasps instantly escaped the mouths of the distinguished senior elders, but being old horses who had lived long lives and seen many circusses they masked their expressions and beating hearts expertly.
"Stop joking around Feng Xiao! This is neither the time nor place.." Old Bihai berated out at once.
"I swear on my Xiao family name " Feng Xiao did not hesitate to swear before his three superiors.
"This brat is truly extra ordinary. I have never seen such an occurrence in all my life."
"Hmm.... If what you say is true then you have truly unearthed a rare treasure that must be nurtured. He must have an impeccable master. What is this brats name.?" Chairman Zeng Xiao asked with a pleased tone as he picked up Zhu Yuan's scrolls to read and evaluate them once more.
"Yes, yes.... This is the rarest of finds. His name is Zhu Yuan. He says his master's name is Old Man Yuan. A name I was unable to recognize."
"This is without a doubt an unparralleled hidden expert that we had no prior knowledge of residing within our humble Red Eagle Town!" Elder Feng Xiao nodded, his voice filled with emotion and happiness.
"Old Man Yuan....." all the three elders voiced out the unfamiliar name as they went in deep thought and reflection.
"This is not all the esteemed seniors..."
"Huh. . . what do you mean? Speak.."
"Err...well after finishing up the 1st and 2nd evaluations, this humble instructor changed up the final examination a bit out of sheer curiosity. This brat was simply too mysterious."
"I err... put before him the ingredients for refining the Divine Dragon Essence Pellet" Feng Xiao quickly explain the recent developments. The shocked and raised eyebrows from the three leaders of the pellet association were expected and he hurriedly went on to explain before they could admonish him and drown him with curses and complaints.
"But the most perplexing thing happened seniors and I had to come here in a rush to notify you at once!"
"The brat... He seems to have started the refining process. I left him as he was fusing the base elements and he looks like he was on the verge of succeeding.! In the whole process he barely erred or had any hesitation.."
"What!!!???.." three loud voices erupted at once filling the entire large office.
