I can barely concentrate during the week of finals. I've crammed in as much studying as possible with kylan, so it's not that I'm worried about not doing well; it's more that my mind is too focused on Dad and whether or not he's really changed. Instead of going to the beach with Kyle and Jane to celebrate our freedom on the day of my last exam, I drive over to Dad's hotel to surprise him. Maybe I'm wrong and he really has changed, or maybe I'm crazy, but I can't shake the feeling in my gut that something is wrong.
