I looked at Gareth and his anger had subsided.
“Welcome back guys, we are so happy to see you. You must tell us everything but first, go straight to your families. They need to know you are safe.” I tried to stay calm. Circe opened the barrier for them, and they ran like hell, clearly glad to be back. The girls noticed a bit of tension and excused themselves.
“Gareth, you need to get your anger under control.” I was instructing him as both his Alpha and his future father-in-law.
“I apologize, Alpha. I have no excuse for my behaviour. I was just so scared when I saw them. I couldn’t believe they had returned alive. What if they were sent to kill Glinda?!” I thought about it, seeing it from his point of view and not just from mine.
