Riley’s pov It's been a few weeks since I last encountered the Lockwood brothers. I was genuinely surprised none of them had ambushed me or disturbed my peace for this long. For the first time in what felt like forever, it seemed like they had forgotten I existed. My life had gone back to normal , school, work, the usual routine. And, honestly, I was happy about it. I remember what Logan told me once, that rich kids get bored easily. Once they're done with you, they disappear, leaving you in the dust. And that's exactly what it felt like now. They were bored, and I was discarded, which suited me just fine. At least, that's what I kept telling myself. No more games, no more tension. I was finally left alone. But, deep down, I had this nagging feeling I didn't want to admit to myself. As
