Claire’s POV
"Christopher... Chris, I'm talking to you, don’t you ignore me!" I shouted, my voice shaking with frustration as I marched behind him. He didn’t even look back, just kept walking, like I wasn’t even there. My heart was racing, and my fists clenched at my sides. How could he treat me like this?
He finally walked into his room and slammed the door shut, but I wasn’t going to let him lock me out. I pushed the door open and followed him inside, not caring how angry I was. This was my breaking point.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled, planting my hands on my hips. “You’ve been acting so strange for days. First, you told the servants to lie to me, to say you weren’t around, and now this? I had to force my way in just to talk to you, and you treat me like dirt?"
