Christopher’s pov It had already been a long day, but when the summons came, I knew things were about to get worse. Alexander, Xavier and I were called to our father's private study. The Alpha of the Moonshadow Pack didn’t call us for trivial matters. He rarely spoke to us at all unless it benefited him. I had given up expecting kindness from him years ago. We weren’t the type of family that shared meals or laughed together. He always said we weren’t girls and that showing us softness would only make us weak. So, we never got to see our father’s soft side, grew up tough, or at least we were supposed to. Walking into his study always gave me a sense of dread. We moved slowly, exchanging uneasy glances between ourselves. None of us looked forward to these meetings. They never ended well,
