"Apparently, my prediction is correct. He is not an ordinary man." Kang Ling smiles and concluded after witnessing Jin's capability.
Meantime, Guangu is very tired and almost fainted after using all his energy in the fight against Kang Ling and Jin. He is now standing on his knee and using his machete to support his body in order not to fall to the ground.
Jin walks and stops in front of Guangu. "You've lost and I've won. As promised, I hope you leave this place and forget this silly fight. Don't hold your grudge against us again. We don't want to add an enemy."
"Who... Who are you, Young Man?! Why did you know Baek Mountain's high-level technique?!" Guangu asked while trying to control his heavy breath.
"My name is Jin. I just a wanderer." Jin answered briefly.
"You... You are still not answering my question." Guangu said with his last energy and finally can not maintain his consciousness. He passed out and fall to the ground.
"Well, maybe if we met again, I will answer your question," Jin talked to the passed out Guangu. After that, he looks at Guangu's men who seem disoriented and don't know what to do after their leader has fainted. "Hey! Why are you standing still and silent? Hurry bring your boss out of this place." Jin ordered Guangu's men.
Two of Guangu's men come forward to carry their fainted boss. All of them walk unsteadily while bringing Guangu out of the ex-battle zone, they never thought if the boss that they were proud of, has been defeated easily by an unknown young man.
Jin comes at Kang Ling's front after the battle has ended without any casualties. "Young Master, since the problem in here has been over, I'd like to say goodbye. I hope we will meet again one day." Jin said farewell to Kang Ling while clenching his fist.
As a person that was raised with proper manners, Kang Ling responded to Jin's polite act by similar act. "Please don't call me young master, just call me Kang Ling," he said while clenching his fist, he doesn't consider Jin as someone lower than him although Jin's appearance looks shabby and dirty.
"Okay, Kang Ling. My name is Jin. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, Jin."
"Very well, See you again then." Jin intended to leave that place and go to En City. He wants to find some works to get money, his stomach is hungry after swimming that far and fighting Guangu and the huge crocodile.
"Wait, please wait. How if I treat you some food because you helped me take care of that matters? How do you say?" Kang Ling invited Jin and he tries to talk informally because he and Jin are almost the same age.
"That sounds a good idea. Okay, I accept your invitation, but, don't get shocked when I eat a lot."
"Don't worry, you can eat anything you want, I'll pay," Kang Ling said while taking out a purse full of gold coins, Jin estimated around 50 gold coins are inside Kang Ling's purse.
"Wow! That's a lot of money right there, don't you afraid if I will steal it?" Jin wants to test Kang Ling's opinion about him.
"Nope, I don't think a noble warrior like you will do that lowly thing. Anyway, if you want this, I'll give it all to you. Do you want this?" Kang Ling said while handing over his purse to Jin.
Kang Ling's honest response makes Jin believe if Kang Ling doesn't look like a cocky person from the appearance, this makes Jin happy and start to trust Kang Ling. "Haha... I just joking, my friend. If I need money, I can work in the city. You can put back your purse inside your pocket." Jin said.
Kang Ling smiles, he is getting more understanding about Jin's character and he likes it because Jin is not the type of person who easily grunted and doesn't like to exploit other people's kindness. "Okay, let's go now." Kang Ling starts walking towards En City and Jin follows beside him.
"So, did you kill that huge crocodile?" Kang Ling is still curious about the flying crocodile.
"Yeah, I didn't have many options that time. It attacked me several times and wanted to eat me. I have to kill it or I will be killed," Jin explained as he thought Kang Ling is an animal lover, he doesn't want to debate about something that had been done. "Anything wrong with it?"
"No, nothing. I'm just curious," Kang Ling knows if Jin's previous performance versus Guangu is not Jin's limit, throwing a crocodile as huge as three buffalos up high is not an easy feat, moreover, he did it inside the water. Kang Ling estimates Jin's skills are at least at the peak of the Master Level. "So, how did you end up in the water back there? Are you looking for fishes?"
"Umm... No, I didn't look for fish. I was swimming from Xian City." Jin answered honestly.
"You what?! Could you repeat?!" Kang Ling didn't believe what he heard and decided to ask again.
"I was swimming from Xian City. I don't have any money to buy the ticket to get on board and I decided to swim and here I am."
Kang Ling is so surprised by Jin's answer until he stops walking. He never thinks a person as unique as Jin existed. He thinks if Jin's way of thinking is simple yet unique. No one would try to swim a huge lake like that just because they don't have money to pay for the boat ticket.
"Hey! What's wrong? Why are you stopping?" Jin asked when sees Kang Ling standstill and doesn't walk.
"Nothig. let's continue to walk again. En City is not that far from here." Kang Ling said.
"How about you? What are you looking for in this martial art world?" Jin's turn to ask Kang Ling.
"How did you know if I was looking for something?" Kang Ling is curious how Jin can conclude if he was on a mission.
