Reunion 1

In the west pavilion, Jin still waiting for Airi. He starts to worry because Airi has gone for a long time. The dirty dishes on the table have been cleaned by the maids, and now, the pavilion is clean and neat again. Jin decides to look for Airi if she is not coming back soonest.

When Jin watches far to the sky, an old man comes to greet him. He is the old man that shows Airi the direction to the toilet. 

"Good day, young man." The old man said. He is Hyung Jae's teacher Kam Goem Rang.

Jin, who is lost in his thought, immediately turns his head to see the person who greets him. He is surprised that Kam Goem Rang is standing in front of him. "Master Kam Goem Rang, forgive me for not paying attention to your arrival." Jin said while bows himself and clenches his hands.

"Haish, no need to be formal like that. Stand up, Jin." Kam Goem Rang said.

Jin now stands up again. "Thank you, Master." 

"I immediately come here when Hyung Jae told me if you coming to this place again after two years. Where is your Master? Are you coming here alone?" Kam Goem Rang asked.

Kam Goem Rang met with Jin two years ago when Jin and his teacher, Baek Ma, comes to visit this palace. It turns out that Kam Goem Rang is the old friend of Baek Ma when Baek Ma was still active in the martial art world so many years ago. At that time, they meet again after being separated for over 55 years.

"I am sorry Master Kam, my teacher has passed away 3 months ago." Jin said sadly.

Kam Goem Rang releases a heavy breath. "No need to feel sorry, Jin. He has free now, it's better for him. I know your teacher since we were teenagers. He is a very talented man, extraordinarily talented. He can achieve what other people couldn't. At some point I envy him," Kam Goem Rang tells Jin about his relation with Baek Ma, Jin's teacher. He stops for a moment and walks to the edge of the pavilion while looking far to the blue sky above. "But he suddenly put everything and left it. He abandoned all his hard works and achievements as if it was nothing. He even abandons his sect, Baek Mountain. Nobody knows the reason why he did that when he could easily claim the Emperor's throne."Kam Goem Rang continued his story.

Jin knows if his teacher was an extraordinary powerful martial artist, but he never thinks if his teacher was so mysterious like that.

"If I am not mistaken, one day before he disappeared that time, he comes to me and said something that I could not understand. He said if the world will end if he becomes the Emperor. Unfortunately, I forgot to asked when we met two years ago about what he meant at that time. It will be a mystery as he has died now. Maybe, he'll tell me in the afterlife when I follow him one day." Kam Goem Rang finished his story. His tone clearly said that he miss his old friend, Baek Ma.

"Forgive me, Master. But please don't say such bad words. I believe you will live for a long time." Jin said.

Kam Goem Rang smiles hearing Jin's words. "You are a nice person, Jin. Baek Ma is lucky to have you to continue his legacy. But, you must be careful, don't get too nice to everyone. You still have a long path to go through and you will meet many bad guys out there that having two faces. They will use your kindness to stab you from the back." Kam Goem Rang gave advice.

"Thank you, Master. I will always remember your advice." Jin said while clenching his hands again.

"Very well, Jin. I will go now. Enjoy your time here, I believe Hyung Jae will come soon enough." Kam Goem Rang said and he walks slowly away out of the pavilion.

"Thank you, Master Kam. I hope you will always be healthy and prosperous." Jin said.

Jin feels lucky to know something about his teacher's past life from Kam Goem Rang. During his 6 years of life with his teacher, Baek Ma, he never knows about the past life of his teacher and his teacher also never told him anything about his past. The only thing that his teacher said on the last day before he died was about a secret in one of the Baek Mountain Caves that I must visit one day.

For a while, Jin forgets about Airi. She still not coming back to the pavilion and he decides to look for her. Right after Jin walks for a few steps away from the pavilion, Hyung Jae arrives and calls his name. "Hey, Jin. Where are you going?" Hyung Jae asked from Jin's back.

Jin turns his head and smiles wide when he sees his big brother's arrival. "Big brother." Jin said.

Both of them hug each other once again and walk to the pavilion.

"How are you, Big Bro? You look very handsome on that uniform." Jin said as he sees Hyung Jae is very different from Hyung Jae 2 years ago, moreover if compared to 6 years ago. He is more neat, clean, and handsome. A deserving appearance as one of the biggest sects in the world's leader. "You seem to enjoy your current role, Big Bro."

"Haish, don't say like that. Did you know how stressed I am right now? Every day has to check a lot of reports and meet a lot of guests that most of them I didn't know. I even barely have time to practice. Maybe your skill has passed me, Jin. You are a genius one." Hyung Jae said.

Jin doesn't know if life as a sect leader will be that hard for his big bro. He will be very glad if his brother wants to accompany him again on the adventure throughout the world, just like the old times, But he knows if it is impossible right now.

"Don't look down on yourself, big bro. Your skills are comparable to the other strongest persons in the world right now. I still have a long way to reach your level." Jin replied.
