Jin's Plan To Clear His Name

Outside the gate, many people from every direction are gathered. They can not enter the city because Baok Sa instructed to close all the gate, no ones are allowed to enter inside or go out of Xian city until the one who killed the guards is being caught, dead or alive. The rich people among them are willing to pay some amount of money to temporarily stay in the houses outside the city wall, but most people are having a low budget, they decided to build tents because they can not afford to pay the rent. All of them only have one purpose that is to wait because of various reasons until the city is opened again.

Moo Yong and his friends come to the gate to meet the guards, they want to steal the gate logbooks that were requested by Jin. Moo Yong pretended to bring some wine and ask the guards to drink with him. Of course, the guards are ignoring them because they are still on duty. Their commander, Baok Sa, will slap them if he knows his men drinking on their duty, or worst, they can get fired from the platoon.

Moo Yong creates a small commotion that succeeds to draw the attention of the guards, at the same time, one of his friends is distracting the attention of the guards who is staying on the gate desk, while the other one is taking the logbooks from the top of the desk and put it behind his clothes. They only want to borrow that logbook and planned to return it after they finish with it.

Moo Yong and his friends are walking away from the gate after they succeed to take the logbook. They are happy because it was not as hard as they thought. None of the guards are noticing if their logbooks are missing. They immediately go to the agreed place to meet Jin, they are also curious about what Jin will do with the logbook.

The sun has just set when they arrive at the agreed place, but there is still some light left to see around without needing the torch. Jin sees the arrival of Moo Yong and immediately jumps down from the rooftop to meet them.

"Here are the logbooks." Moo Yong handing over 3 logbooks from the past four months back to Jin. They can not steal the current month's logbook because it was in the possession of the gate guards. But it is enough for Jin. "And this is the food for you." This time, Moo Yong's friend is handing over the foods that they brought with them.

"Thank you, Mister. I won't forget your help." Jin happily received the logbooks and the food. "Let's check the logbook first." He starts to open from the oldest month and check the registered name who enter the city one by one. The light started to fade out and it makes Moo Yong and his friends getting difficult to read the letters, but not with Jin. Jin can read it easily because he has activated his hidden ability, the legacy of Queen Aghs'tya many years ago. He doesn't need to transform all of his physiques to access the ability to see in the dark, he only transforms his eyes this time, and it is unnoticed by Moo Yong or his two friends. Moo Yong feels weird because the surrounding has completely dark now but Jin still can read the small letter as if in the daylight.

"Here, I think I found the old women's records. Her name is Mrs. Huanzu and she lives in the Moryong village." Jin said to everyone.

"How did you know if Mrs. Huanzu is the perpetrator." Moo Yong asked out of his curiosity.

"Firstly because in the records mentioned if she was riding a chariot with the donkey who pulled it." Jin said. "I've met with the lady who killed the guards twice and she used a chariot with the donkey. I can not find any other records of a woman with the donkey except Mrs. Huanzu." He continued his explanation and Moo Yong understands although he is still unsure. "Secondly, She just arrived around 3 months ago, no records of her coming to this city before that."

"3 months ago? Wasn't that the time where the first missing case has appeared?" One of Moo Yong's friends said.

"Yes, that's why I believe Mrs. Huanzu is the one who killed the guards and k********g the children. I believe if you check it one by one, the date of the missing children case will be the same date when that lady coming to this city." Jin said while closing the logbook. He already gets enough information. "I have to go to the Moryong Village to find Mrs. Huanzu's house tonight. If we are lucky, we might still able to rescue some children from her place."

"Are you sure you want to go there tonight? It's very dark now and you have to cross a hill to get arrived at that village. Anyway, how you will pass the gate that is being strictly guarded right now?" Moo Yong asked as he is unsure about Jin's plan.

"We must move there as soon as possible because I am afraid if that old lady will run away. I had seen her actions and I believe she won't come to this city again because of that." Jin's reason is understandable by Moo Yong and his friends. "As for the guards, I will need you and your friend's help again Mr. Moo Yong."

"What kind of help that you want us to do? As long as we can save the children and catch the real perpetrator, we will help you."

Jin said his plans and Moo Yong with his friends agree on it. "Okay, before we move, please give me time to eat this food first." Jin said as his stomach is very starving right now and somehow he feels as if tonight will not be an easy night.

Jin's plan is simple, he will show himself and make a small commotion, two of Moo Yong's friends' task is to lead the guards to follow Jin as he wants the guards to come with him to the Moryong village while Moo Yong himself will meet the commander of the city guards, Baok Sa, to tell him everything and shows the logbook and the missing day of the children as the proof. One more else that can be used as proof is the chariot with the donkey that was left by the old woman and is now in the possession of the guard.

"Let's start the plan." Jin giving a code from the top of the roof for everyone to blow their whistles.

"Fweeeeet... Fweeeet..." The continuous whistles sound manage to attract the attention of the guards, many of them are coming to the source of the whistles.

"Hey! What's going on?!" One of the guards asked Moo Yong.

"We saw a suspicious man, and he goes that way." Moo Yong said while pointing in a direction. Jin immediately shows himself in the pointed direction.

"There... Right there!" Moo Yong shouted.

The guards saw the silhouette of Jin in the dark of the night and they start to blow a continuous whistle to call the other guards.

"Fweeeeet! Fweeeeet!" All of sudden, the city becomes boisterous with whistles and the guards voices. All of them running at the same direction to chase Jin who purposedly showing himself.

Moo Yong sneaks and go to the city hall to meet Baok Sa, the commander. Although it is not an easy task, he will try his best to explain to Baok Sa. He doesn't want an innocent person being punished while the real evil person is free.
