Someone Who Believe

"Fweeet!!! Fweeet!!!" The sounds of the whistles are continuously heard from all over the city. The guards are now increasing their vigilance inside the city after their two members are dead in the hands of an unknown person. Baok Sa, the commander of the Xian Guards, now comes down to checks and looks for the murderer and the kidnapper by himself. He instructs all the guards to shut down the entire Xian city and will catch anyone who is lurking outside without a clear purpose. The city looks like in a state of war right now.

A few volunteers that registering themselves to the guards are allowed to go out inside the city during this period. They are being spread all over the city and moves in a group of three men to look for any suspicious person or activity. One of the volunteer groups is Moo Yong and two of his friends. At first, they don't believe if Jin was the perpetrator, but, after several guards saw with their own eyes that a young man, with the characteristics like Jin, is seen at the crime scene without anyone else in there, makes their belief has fallen apart and now they were in the side of someone who believed if Jin was the murderer and also the kidnapper of all the missing children.

Jin is still inside the city because he wants to find Moo Yong to ask for his help to get access to the guard's logbook. After all, he needs to get the information about the old woman's house. Jin already has a plan in his mind but he only able to do it after he knows the location of the old woman's house.

The evening almost comes and Jin is waiting patiently on the rooftop that is not visible from the road but he can take a peek at the road below him. Amidst his hungry stomach, he keeps waiting patiently. His lucks finally arrives when he saw Moo Yong's group is patrolling on the road below him. When they are on an empty corner, Jin immediately descended from the rooftop after makes sure that no guards are around them.

Jin's sudden appearances are shocking Moo Yong and her friends. They are almost blow up their whistle if Jin doesn't move very fast and push their blood point. Jin makes two of Moo Yong's friends passed out with only Moo Yong that awakens although he can not moves or talk. Jin wants to talks to him in secretive.

"Mister, I will let you speak if you promised me not to scream." Jin negotiating the conditions that he wants. "If you agree, nod your head twice." He added.

Moo Yong doesn't have many options, this time he nods his head because he wants to know whether his friends are dying or not, and he doesn't want to die either. Jin removes the blood pressure on one point of Moo Yong's body and Moo Yong can speak again although he still can not moves. At first, Moo Yong is going to scream aloud, but he cancels that intention because he knows Jin can kill him in less than a seconds after he screams. Rather than die in vain, he chooses to wait and hear Jin's request.

"Did you killed my friends?" The first thing that Moo Yong asked Jin is about his friends, Moo Yong is the kind of person who values friendship like he values his family.

"No, they just faint. I am not a murderer. These whole things are just a big misunderstanding." Jin stands in front of Moo Yong and starts to explain his intention.

"What do you mean? And what do you want from me?" Moo Yong asked. He still afraid if Jin will sacrifice and kill him just like the two guards and the missing children.

"Listen, Mister. I really need your help to clear up this misunderstanding. This has escalated beyond my prediction. I want to clear my name."

Moo Yong still does not trust Jin, "You want to clear your name after killed two guards and k********g the children? What kind of joke is that?" His sense of justice has forced him to say that.

"I am not the murderer and also not the kidnapper. But, I know the one who did that. I saw it with my own eyes, and the guards just came too late right after she killed her victims and runs away." Jin explained the incident that makes the misunderstanding escalated to this level. "The guards only saw me and they misunderstood me as the murderer."

Moo Yong is still unsure about Jin's story, "You can say anything that you want, but if you don't have the proof, I won't believe it. Even no one going to believe it." He said.

"I know, that's why I need your help, Mister Moo Yong. Please trust me, I'll set you and your friends free." Jin begged, he knows if Moo Yong is his only hope to get the gate logbook without needing the fight.

Moo Yong is silent for a moment as if he thinks about something. "What kind of help that you need from me?" His curiosity makes him asked. Anyway, he and his friends have not died until now, he realizes that as an important thing in his trust to Jin's words. Moo Yong thinks If Jin was the real murderer, he can kill them with ease by now, but he doesn't do that.

"I saw the real perpetrator. She is an old woman. She killed two guards with ease. I know if you must be thinking if it was impossible or I lied, but trust me, I've seen weirder things than this in my life." Jin explained.

Indeed, Moo Yong is unsure whether he should trust Jin's story or not as the story seems to be impossible.

"Please, trust me, Sir. We have to stop her before other victims fall." Jin tried to persuade again. "I don't have much time, the guards may arrive at any moment, I need your answer now." Jin said for the final time while his head turn to left and right to make sure no guards are coming to their location.

Moo Yong is still not sure, but his intuition told him to trust Jin. "Okay, I will help you. What can I do to catch that old woman?"

Jin tells everything of his plan and Moo Yong understands his tasks. One more thing that Jin asked Moo Yong is to bring any food for his stomach when they meet again later, and Moo Yong grants that request. Before leaving, Jin makes two of Moo Yong's friends wake up. Both of them are shocked and almost scream, but Moo Yong managed to stop them from doing so. "Be quiet! I will explain everything later. Just trust me." Moo Yong said while both of his hands covering his friends' mouths. They agreed with Moo Yong's request, anyway, Moo Yong never lied to them all this time. After everything has settled, Jin moves away from their sight and they planned to meet again in this place before nightfall.
