Ja Som Fa's Strange Illness

"It's okay, Jin. I'm only sad because of Youra. Can you imagine, Youra who previously lived in freedom, all of sudden has to live in exile? And it's already 5 years since we lived here. Although we are still inside our sect, what's the point if we can not go anywhere and can not meet anyone?

Jin can not imagine how hard Youra's life was in the past 5 years. Youra that he knows was a little girl with a big dream to adventure into the world, and the fact that she has to live in restriction for many years is beyond Jin's imagination. He was certain if Youra is in a very deep depression although she is smiling.

"One more thing Jin, in case you didn't know, Youra has decided to accept when Hyul's proposed to her a few days ago. I hope you won't blame her, she waits for you all the time to bring her out of this hellish life until she lost her hope and finally accept Hyul who offered her to take her and us out of this place."

Jin was shocked to hear Youha's explanation about Youra. Now he knows if Youra has waited for him but he comes too late. He didn't expect if his decision to help Airi for a month is having a big effect on his relationship with Youra. If he comes one month earlier, Youra would never accept Hyul's marriage proposal. But, it has happened and he can not rewind time. Anyway, he didn't regret helping Airi, what he can do now is to accept his destiny and continue his life.

Jin still not answering Youha's question while Youra coming out of her bedroom. She doesn't cry anymore and strengthened his heart to meet and talk with Jin.

Youha knows herself and leaves Jin to talk to Youra. "I will continue to clean up my husband, you two can talk first." Youha stands up and leaves both Jin and Youra to enter the bedroom where Ja Som Fa is lying inside, she even closes the door to make Jin can talk in private with Youra.

"I am sorry, Jin." Those were the first words that Youra said to Jin after sitting down in front of him.

"No need, Youra. It's my mistake. I was coming too late. I should come earlier."

"So, what are you gonna do?" Youra asked, she truly wants Jin to say if he wants to take her away, but he knows if Jin will never do that.

Jin takes out the necklace that Youra gave him when they were still kids. "I think I should return this to you, Youra. This is your family legacy, I didn't have the right to bring it anymore." Jin takes Youra's hand and puts the necklace on her palm.

Youra's tears come out again from the corner of her eyes and she immediately wiped them out, and Jin knows it. "Thank you for taking care of this necklace, Jin."

For a moment, both of them were only silent, they don't know what to say to each other.

"I am sorry, Youra," Jin finally opened his words while looking down to the floor. He can not look at her eyes.

"This is not your fault, Jin. This is my fate and has to accept it."

"Is there any way for you to avoid it?" Jin means about Youra's marriage with Hyul.

Youra is silent for a while, his love for Jin wants her to ask Jin to take her and runs away right now, while her logic stops her from doing that because her parents will be in trouble. She realizes if her parents are now not as powerful as before and they will be in greater difficulties than their current conditions if she runs away with Jin. "I am sorry Jin, I don't think there is another way for us. I can not leave my parents."

Jin thinks for a moment, he understands Youra's difficulties, but on the other hand, he doesn't want Youra to spend her entire life with Hyul. "Can I see your father's condition?" Jin asked because the only way for him to be together with Youra is after her father has been cured, and he has to be fast before Youra marrying Hyul.

"Umm... I don't know, Jin. I am not sure if you want to see my father's like that." Youra said her doubt, he was afraid Jin will be scared and run away from her after seeing her father's severe condition.

"It's okay, I promise in the name of my teacher, I won't tell something that will shame your family to anyone. I only want to find a way to cure your father."

"If you say so. But, please wait, I'll ask my Eomma first." Youra knocked on his parents' bedroom and enters the room. She is inside for a while before coming out again.

"Jin, you can come inside." Youra opened the door to let Jin enter the bedroom.

"Thank you." Jin walks slowly to see Ja Som Fa inside the bedroom. Jin was surprised and stood still for a moment after seeing Ja Som Fa's condition for the first time. He still remembered his last meeting with Ja Som Fa during the fight with Rot'un Jere, at that time, Ja Som Fa's body was very sturdy with magnificent combat abilities. But now, that man is very skinny, even his cheeks look very thin, people who look at him must feel pity for his condition.

After controlling himself, Jin wants to check Ja Som Fa's condition. "May I check him?" He asked the approval from Youha, Ja Som Fa's wife.

Jin keeps trying to diagnose Ja Som Fa's condition amidst Youha's explanation. He picks Ja Som Fa's hand and tries to feel his pulse and it is very weak indeed. From this method, he concludes that Ja Som Fa still has strong inner energy inside his body, so, the problem is in his physical body. But, Jin doesn't understand how to check the physical body as he is never learning any healing technique. Suddenly, Jin remembers if he has the ability to look through the internal organs, he activates Queen Aghs'thya's eyes and starts scanning Ja Som Fas internal organ thoroughly. What is surprising is because everything is healthy, none of Ja Som Fa's internal organs are in a bad shape. "That's odd." Jin murmured.

"What's odd, Jin?! Did you find anything wrong with my husband's body?!" Youha asked with full of hope.

"No, Mrs. Youha. That is why I said if it was odd," Jin explained his finding. "Mr. Ja Som Fa's inner energy is still very strong, yet his internal organ is also very healthy. I don't understand why he can be like this. With his current condition, he should be able to live normally." Jin now understands why none of the healers could diagnose Ja Som Fa's illness as Ja Som Fa should be a very healthy person.

Youha released a heavy breath as she got a similar result from Jin. "That's what every healer said after checking my husband's body." She has lost her hope to cure her husband since years ago.

Jin looks at Ja Som Fa's sleeping face and determines himself to find a way to cure Ja Som Fa no matter what. He won't let Youra fall to Hyul's hand, whatever the cost is. Jin has planned to give a lesson to Hyul and his family for causing Jung Kook's death many years ago. If Youra becomes part of Hyul's family, he won't have the heart to do anything for Hyul's family because of Youra.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Youha, if you trust me, I will try to find the cure for your husband. Just wait for a moment." Jin stands up and tries to cheer up Youha and Youra.

"Thank you, Jin. But, don't force yourself too much. This shouldn't become your problem." Youha said.

"Yes, Mrs. Youha. I won't force myself," Jin said and walks to Youra's place, somehow, he dared himself to hold Youra's hands. Although surprised by Jin's action, Youra is letting him hold her hands. Even her mother, Youha, doesn't do anything although she sees what Jin does. "Don't worry, Youra, I will try to find the cure for your father so you don't have to marry that person. No matter how low the possibility for us to be together, as long as we never stopped believing, I am sure we can find the way."

Youra smiles, a glimpse of hope has raised in her heart. This is the feeling that he had waited for so long amidst her desperation, she believes Jin will not disappoint her. Anyway, He never disappointed her in the past.

"I will go first and will return as soon as possible after finding a way to cure your father. Please hold on until that time."

"Yes, Jin. I believe you." Youra said and she kisses Jin's cheek in front of her mother. Her mother stays silent because she knows if Jin is the first hope that Youra has in many years and she doesn't want to ruin her beloved daughter's feelings right now.

Jin walks out of the small house and he thanked the guards, he must act nicely to them with hopes they won't take him in a difficult situation when he comes back again later. After leaving the guards, Jin walks hurriedly and gets out of the Golden Flame Sect. The gate guard feels weird as he still remembered if he didn't allow Jin to enter the sect, yet, Jin comes out of the sect while showing a VIP plaque. The guards couldn't do anything except to allow Jin past the gate to get out of the sect.

The evening almost arrived when Jin walks towards Sinmu City, he walks normally as he still thinking about how to cure Ja Som Fa. No matter how determined he was, if he couldn't figure out a way, then everything is meaningless. Jin has arrived at Sinmu City when the dark has covered all over the area. He planned to rent an inn in this city with the leftover money that he took from the Black Mask horde. He is walking on the city road while looking for an inn with the lowest price.

Sinmu City is indeed changed a lot. With the foreigners that were getting more and more entering the city to works and find fortune, the brothel becomes the most favorite place to spend the night for most of the citizens. Many new brothels have been opened because of the increase in demand. The city becomes more alive in the night.

Jin enters one of the food taverns just to order a drink. His mind still trying to figure out how to help Ja Som Fa. He doesn't look for a healer in this city because he knows the result will be the same, he has to find a remarkable healer that is having extraordinary skills because Ja Som Fa's illness is not something ordinary. After thinking for a while inside while sitting alone in the tavern, he finally remembers if Du Angu, the healer that helped him in Xian City mentioned someone named Hu Huaiyu that was called The King of Medicine. Jin finally knows what he needs to do. He just needs to find Hu Huaiyu with help from Du Angu.
