The Young Servant Identity

Kang Ling has finished his lunch and prepared to leave the tavern. He called the tavern owner to pay the bill, "Mr. Owner, how much I should pay?" He asked.

"No need, Young Master. It's all free for you." Ho Hua answered.

"I am not talking about the food, Mr. Owner. I am talking about your loss because of the commotion today." Kang Ling said to Ho Hua.

Ho Hua seems to be surprised by Kang Ling's intention. At first, he smiles happy, but he then realizes if it is not good to burden Kang Ling for something that was not his responsibility. Ho Hua is a fair old man that doesn't want to take advantage of other's misery, he has accepted if today is his unfortunate day.

"No need, Young Master. It's not your fault at all. They were the ones who made the trouble." Ho Hua said.

"I also have a hand on your loss today. I must pay for it. I don't want to have a debt to anyone." Kang Ling insisted.

"Okay if you are insisting, I will accept your compensation, but only a half of it. Not more," Ho Hua finally agreed. "Hey, calculate all the food that the customer still not pay for today. Do it fast, we don't want to make this young master here waiting for too long." Ho Hua ordered his servant to check all the losses today.

The young servant does his master's task in a hurry. He comes to the front of Kang Ling and Ho Hua to report his calculation.

"Total for the food losses is 10 gold coins and 5 silver coins, Sir. No table or chair that broken, a few broken plates with the losses of 5 silver coins. So, in total 11 gold coins." The young servant reported.

"You heard by yourself, Young Master, the loss is 11 gold coins. So, the amount that you should compensate is 5 gold coins and 5 silver coins. Since you had given me 5 gold coins in advance, you only have to pay 5 silver coins now. That's sound a fair thing to me." Ho Hua explained.

"No, Mr. Owner. I already gave the 3 gold coins to this Mr. Waiter here, so, I will give you 3 gold coins and 5 silver coins. Please don't refuse it." Kang Ling said while putting 3 gold coins and 5 silver coins on the table. He seems to be a detailed person.

Ho Hua agrees with Kang Ling's numbers and takes the gold coins, "Thank you, Young Master. I hope you will always be prosperous and healthy in your life." He prayed for Kang Ling while clenches his hands.

"Thank you, Mr. Owner. I will go now." Kang Ling replied.

"Where are your destination, Young Master? If you are looking for a place to stay tonight, I recommend you to go to Ajwa City Twin inn. The owner is my brother, I will give special recommendations for them to treat you well. They also have a good view of fast rice fields Maybe you will like it." Ho Hua said.

"I don't know if I will stay in this city or not for tonight, I'll see the situation later." Kang Ling said.

"Very well, Young Master. Please wait a moment," Ho Hua went to his desk and take something out of its drawer. He immediately comeback to Kang Ling with a small silver plaque. "Please take this, this is the silver plaque for the Twin Inn's VIP members. Show this whenever you want to stay there and they will treat you as a special guest." Ho Hua explained.

"Thank you, Mr. Owner." Kang Ling said.

"My name is Ho Hua." Ho Hua finally introduced his name.

"Nice to know you, Mr. Ho Hua, I am Kang Ling." Kang Ling introduced himself also. "I will go now, thanks for your kindness." Kang Ling clenched his fist and walks away from the tavern.

"A handsome young man with great martial art skills and a good attitude, a very rare combination. Who knows what will he achieved in the future," Ho Hua talked to the young servant. "He is very rich also, and coming from the Red Dragon sect. Such a fortunate to know him." Ho Hua continued to praise Kang Ling although the person that he praised has gone from the tavern.

The young waiter only smiling at him.

"As I feel happy right now, today both of you can go home early. But, don't forget to come back again by tomorrow morning as usual." Ho Hua talked to the young servant and the chef.

"That's a very good decision, Boss. I have something to do also." The young waiter said gladly.

"Ha... You must want to spend your money with the girls, right? I know that you are still young, but, don't waste your money on girls like that, save your money, use it well for your future." Ho Hua lectured his young servant. He thinks if the young servant wants to use the gold coins from Kang Ling to play with the hooker around the city.

The young servant only smiling and doesn't say anything.

"I can go home also, Boss?" Ah Hok the chef asked.

"Yes, of course. Enjoy your free time today." Ho Hua answered.

"Thank you, Boss." Ah Hok said with happiness as he can see his newborn daughter earlier today.

Ah Hok and the young servant went home earlier today, they walk together as their destinations are having the same direction.

"Hey, Can I come to your house? I want to see your baby." The young servant said to Ah hok.

"Sure, you'll love her, she is so cute." Ah Hok agreed while praised his baby.

Ah Hok's house was not far from his workplace, not long after they walk, they have arrived at Ah Hok house, a small house with only one bedroom and a family room, but neat and tidy.

"I am home, honey." Ah Hok said to his wife.

A beautiful fat lady comes out to greet Ah Hok, "Welcome home, dear," His wife replied. "Why are you going home early? Don't say if you are fired by Mr. Ho Hua? He is a good boss, will be difficult to get a boss as good as him, anyway, it is difficult to find work these days." Ah Hok's wife immediately asked a lot of questions after seeing her husband come home earlier.

"Don't worry, Honey. Mr. Ho Hua was the one who told us to go home earlier today," Ah Hok answered her wife. "Where are the other kids?" He asked his wife.

"I ask all of them to play outside, they are too boisterous and makes the baby in comfort." His wife replied. Ah Hok and his wife have 3 other children that were not around at the time.

"Ah I forgot. My friend wants to see our baby, take the baby out please." Ah Hok asked his wife.

His wife immediately takes the baby and shows it to the young servant, a beautiful chubby baby girl that still sleeping. The young servant touches the baby's cheek and the baby moves a little.

"Such a cute girl, she will become very beautiful when she grows up." The Young servant said.

"Thank you." Ah Hok's wife replied.

"Okay, I have to go now." The young servant wants to leave.

"Very well, let me take you till outside." Ah Hok said.

"Before I leave, please take this. Use it for your family." The young servant said while giving a gold coin to Ah Hok's hand.

"What is this, this is too much." Ah hok wants to return the gold coin to the young servant.

"Just take it, I got it from the young swordsman at the tavern today."  The young servant insisted.

Ah Hok smiles, so does his wife. The gold coin from the young servant will help them as they need a lot of money for their baby.

"Thank you, Jin. I don't know what to say." Ah Hok said while bowing to the young servant. The young servant's name is Jin.

"Gets up my friends, don't bow to me. You and your family deserve it. Take them to eat outside and enjoy the time." Jin immediately helps Ah Hok to stands up again.

"Sure, Jin. I'll do it." 

"Okay then, see you again tomorrow." Jin finally gets out of Ah Hok's house and walks away. He is still able to hear Ah Hok's and his wife's happiness from outside the house, and that makes him smile.

Jin continues to walks and his destination is Xixu Brothel, the place that he always visits in the past month when he has money in his hands.
