The Note

Then Ethan walks in, and he goes to hug me but I stop him, "Ethan, your brother needs you."

I see Ethan trudge upstairs. I then go outside, I sit on the porch, watching the kids. He hands me a letter, "Luna, some man in the woods told me to give this to you."

I open the letter, it reads.

Come to the spot and your mates won't die. You come alone and I will too.

I go to go pack my bags before note is ripped out of my hands by Grayson.

"Oh, getting a love note let's read it!" He holds it out of reach as his smirk falls. I slowly try to back away hoping he will let me go. I then turn around as soon as he is done, he grabs me and growls, "You aren't going anywhere." He then drags me to what I guess is his and Ethan's room.

He heads out and I hear the door lock, I sigh and sit against the doorframe.

I can hear muffled words going on between Ethan and Grayson.

I look and see the window is open so I go and jump out it and run.

I check my phone to see it is 3:25, well it is now or never.

I walk in the front doors and see the one and only Alpha Xavier, the won who killed my packs and family.

I give a low deadly growl and sense that it is just him.

He just chuckles, "There is my favorite girl in the world."

I just growl, "You mean the only survivor!"

"Ah, yes that too. You still have the power."

"And that power will be used to kill you."

"Is that princess, how about I make a little wager, you be my sons mate and I will spare your life."

"No."

"Well then we can do this the hard way."

He pulls a out a dagger and comes towards me, I run the other way, I then hear a mindlink from Ethan, "Where are you!"

I mindlink back, "A little busy running for my life."

"What? Why did you go to that place?"

"Again, be quiet, I am running for my life!"

"Oh yeah."

"Shut Up!"

I dodge and weave and jump into a tree and hide there."

I see two identical black wolves underneath me which I recognize as Ethan and Grayson. I quickly jump down right in front of them and they both jump back and growl before they recognize it's me.

I then feel a stinging in my shoulder and I realize it's some sort of blow dart. I then fall over and I hear muffled voices and feel somebody pick me up I then I loose consciousness.
