chapter 12 - The finale

Author's POV

Mike is seen to be preparing for an outing , he is carefully selecting his outfit and when he is done he took his car keys and set out of his room . He got into the living room and met with Angela and they are seen sharing jokes and laughter before he left the house .

Angela continued what she was doing on her phone and after some minutes she mind linked Felix to ask him about what he is doing . Felix replied her mind link and they both started having a conversation through Mind link . In the middle of having a conversation, Felix said his Father just messaged him that he is ready to meet with Angela parents . Felix asked if Angela was ready for that and she replied I'm the affirmative . They continued being affectionate to each other until Felix requested to go on a date with Angela . Angela agreed and they set up a meeting point and time to meet .

Angela started dressing up and she selected a casual outfit since she is not going to a fancy place , their agreed date is a walk through the town and Angela smiled while picturing herself walking hand in hand with Felix .

Mike POV

Today , the only thing on my mind is getting intimate with Chris . Ever since we got together he have always been finding ways to control the situation. I don't plan on letting him control it today which is why I already bought all the needful . He is going to eat me after eating and I will make sure of that before I leave his place . I got really excited thinking about the things that are going to happen today that I almost over speed. I got control of myself and started driving back very carefully.

Chris POV

After he fell asleep , I breathe a breath of relief because I was so close to sucking his blood already. He kept asking me to suck on his blood but I know that it has a way of draining his energy and I don't understand why he will want me to keep draining his energy like that. The seasonings I added were a bit too strong for the egg. I reduced them and the second batch was tasteless as the seasonings I added were too mild for the eggs . I had to throw that one away too and I gave it a last trial , if this one doesn't work out I'm giving up immediately . I made sure I paid special attention to the seasonings I added in the third one and I coated the breads with enough eggs and placed them in the toaster. The third batch came out manageable and I quickly cleaned up the kitchen then put the breads on a plate and grabbed a bottle of water then ended to it room . On getting there I set down the food and after some minutes Mike woke up and proceeded to eat the food I prepared. That is my first time preparing food for someone and when he told me he liked it my heart skipped a bit.......

Felix POV

After leaving the house , I heard Mike locking the door and I smiled to myself . I got into my car then zoomed off to my meeting point with Angela . When I got there I found out she was already there and I went to the spot she was at after parking my car .

I went to meet her and she gave me a hug .

' have you been here for a long time ' I asked

' no I just got here ' she said

' are you sure ' I asked

' okay I've been here for just five minutes ' she said while smiling

' I knew it , you are always early ' I jokingly said

' yeah I like being punctual unlike some late comers ' she joked

We continued teasing each other for a while before I asked for her hand and we started our date. She chose the door where she feels is a nice place to just stroll at and I have to commend her because the place was perfect. We walked hand in hand while conversing ..... when we saw an ice cream van , I went there to get her ice cream and we continued walking till we got to a bench over viewing a river .

We decided to sit on that bench and while we were at it we talked about our plans.

' my dad will be arriving later today ' I said

' he will call me when he arrives , I believe he is going straight to your house ' I added

' that's okay by me, I already messaged my parents about it and they said they will come back early ' she replied

' okay so I guess we will head back whenever he message me ' I said

We turned to the river and Angela rested her head on my shoulder while we continued enjoying the view of the river . After some minutes , my dad mind linked me that he is close to Angela's place according to the map. I told Angela about it and we decided to start going back. We walked back to where I parked my car and we started off to her place.

On getting there , I saw my father's car alongside Angela's parents car. We started going into the house and while at the door I heard them conversing as if they have known each other for a very long time . I told Angela that it's better to wait till we were called before going inside . I knew my father is already aware of our presence.

We sat on the porch and held each other's hand . After some minutes we were told to come in by father and we went in . We were told about the outcome of their meeting and I got to know my father already settled how the wedding will be and every other thing concerning the union with them .

We were still in the middle of our conversation when I heard the sound of Mike's car coming to the garage and I smelled Mike and Chris being in the car together. I laughed internally because I knew why Chris came to drop Mike .

I excused myself and went out to meet them so I can tell him to let Mike walk instead of carrying him in. I told him that my dad and Mike parents are in the middle of a conversation and he groaned at the news . He said Mike can't walk properly yet and allowing him to walk in is even more dangerous than carrying him in. Mike told us that we can pass the back door but then the door has to be opened from inside. I mind linked Angela to open the back door and she did , Chris carried Mike through the back door and when we got to the entrance of his room , I turned back to go enter the house from the front door.............

TWO YEARS LATER

Angela is seen coming out of a new building with Felix tailing after her . They started walking towards the entrance to the pack and when they got there Felix transformed and carried Angela on Lucas back and they set out. On getting to the clearing , Felix transformed back and wore his clothes then they set into the city. Angela wanted to go see her parents and siblings and Felix wanted to go meet Chris who was already packing to come live in the pack. Chris figured the pack is safer for Mike to be at because the people there are trustworthy and won't want to hurt him because of his blood .

During the past two years , he has had to fight off other mystical creatures that are coming close to Mike and he didn't find it funny because what if he didn't get there on time.

' I need to move to the pack with Mike ' he told Felix

' why anything wrong ' Felix asked

' it's because of Mike , you know how I had to fight off different people of our kind away from him since the past year , it's as if they are telling each other about it. They wouldn't stop coming , he needs to be in a safe place ' he said

' No problem I will discuss it with my people and I'm sure they will let you and your husband in since you are not an outsider ' Felix said

They got to Angela's house and went in to greet her parents , Anna jumped on Angela and they both started crying because of how much they missed each other . Mike was also packing and her parents were sad because two out of their three children are going far away .

Everyone started catching up and Anna talked about how she rode on Felix's wolf back and how she thought it was very cool and about how fast the wolf ran. Everyone giggled about her words .

Angela is married to her Alpha and Mike is also married to his Vampire . Angela who never believed in mystical creatures found out she had to live in the midst of them and even marry one of them ...

After marriage , Chris and Mike adopted twins babies ......... a boy and a girl . Angela gave birth to three children , two boys and one girl and they all live together happily............
