chapter 2

Felix POV

I couldn't sleep so I got out of bed and went to the semi deep part of the forest , I let my wolf out for a run so I can ease my mind . It felt good . I ran for three hours then got into my human form and went back to the house . The run cleared my head so I started laying out plans on how to explain my self to Angela .

The next morning came quicker than I expected and I got ready for school alongside Chris. We got to school earlier than we did yesterday and I went straight to my class .

Angela was the only one in the class when I got there . It seems she is a morning person. I said hi to her and sat down . I told her I have something to show her and she asked me what it was . I asked her if she gets scared easily and she said she doesn't that she is pretty bold.

I nodded and asked her if we can be friends. She said yes. I kinda knew she will say yes . So yeah step one accomplished .

We got close pretty fast , we talk and go on breaks together , get to school earlier than other students so we can have more time alone . I figured she doesn't like going home with somebody so I didn't ask her to go home with me . She told me about her brother and sister and how close she is with her sister. I told her I'm an only child and that I wish I had siblings . She laughed and said there is an annoying part to those siblings.

She kept asking me what I wanted to show her but I wanted her to be ready first . I didn't want to rush it . I met her friends too and they are pretty chill , her brother is Goofy and fun to be around . I became close to her brother in no time and we started hanging out together .

Chris especially like to hang out with Mike . I think he likes him in a way but he didn't tell me anything yet so I don't want to bug him . Chris is gay and Mike is exactly his type .

Mike started hanging out at our house and the friendship between him and Chris kept getting stronger . And Chris also introduced me to Mark and Johnny and that is how my friendship circle kept growing . But there are consequences to having those friends . You see whenever they come around , they like to play music and have fun . I have to endure the banging sound which is a whole lot of pain . But I can't complain because it's going to seem weird.

Angela POV

I found myself getting more and more attracted to Felix , he is a gentleman . On his second day at school he told me he wants to show me something but he hasn't . I wonder what it was he wanted to show me . I didn't want to disturb him about it tho . Somehow I feel as if our thinking is connected in a way. I know that sounds weird but that is what I feel . So moving on , I felt he wants to wait for the right timing to show me what he wanted to show me . I wonder when the time will be right .

But seriously the level of handsomeness Felix and his friend possess is out of this world . If I didn't know better I would say they are too handsome to be human . My brother seems to like Chris . I would have said he is romantically attracted to Chris but he have never dated a boy to my knowledge before . But who knows , everything starts from somewhere .

I feel like Felix have a lot of things to tell me but he doesn't know where to start from .

Chris POV

Mike . Damn , his blood smells so good . It has been taking everything in me to withdraw myself from sucking his blood . I've been feeding on animal bloods because I don't want to hurt anyone and I've always manage to control my urge but then this boy is irresistible . I'm unknowingly drawn to him . And he seem to enjoy my company too so our friendship didn't look forced. We hang out together at every chance we get . He is really cool . Mark and Johnny have been real nice to me too , they also hang out with me . I know the sound when they all gather to party at me and Felix apartment would be hurting Felix but he was taking it well without complaining. I feel sorry for him about that but it's not like we can stop them from coming to our house . Our socially awkward asses finally got friends so we can't lose them because of noise.

Mike POV

I made friends with the two new students and they are more chill than I even expected . They are extremely level headed for people with those type of visuals . Something seems extra attractive about Chris but I didn't think too much of it because I'm straight . But yeah I enjoy his company and I found myself going to their apartment more often than not . They are both so welcoming and accommodative . Felix is a good cook so he is our chef. He cooks for everyone when we hang out. I as someone who cooks too personally feel that is very cool . Chris is the opposite tho , he can't cook to save his life. Felix told me about his embarrassing kitchen moments and I had a good laugh at his expense . He didn't seem to mind tho , I think he is used to getting teased for being a bad cook . I told him he is the same as my sister , they both can't cook . Angela can make ordinary water burn . I pity her future husband , he's gonna have a lot of cookings to do haha . I noticed Felix have a lot of interest in my sister anytime I say something about her he always pays attention. He wouldn't be bad for her tho if he really decides to date her I wouldn't mind . There are some suspicious things about Chris , he doesn't like sunlight . He doesn't come out of the class when the sun is high up . When I asked he told me he is allergic to sun light.

Third person POV

Watching the building friendship between them feels like watching a show. They builded their friendship in a nice way . It wasn't long before they got the attention of other people in the school . The school mean girls particularly started picking on Angela because they don't like the way Felix talks to her . They did many things to hurt her but she took it all in good faith and never complained for once. There was a particular incidence where they locked her up in the toilet and she had to wait for hours before some girls entered and helped her open the door . She didn't complain or take it to heart because she believes in tolerating people until you can't tolerate them anymore . She left them alone and keep quiet about it .

Angela POV

The mean girls as everyone calls them are bullying me and I'm still trying to tolerate them . They had me locked in the toilet for hours but I promised to leave them just that once . School went normally today and I'm surprised I've not seen the dumb trio coming to torment me . I thought maybe they have finally got tired of it . I said goodbyes to my friends and headed home. They double crossed me and asked me to follow them into an alley. I complied with them because I wanted to know what they wanted from me this time .

They took me to the alley and it was deserted. They asked me why I'm tagging my ugly self around Felix and Chris . I told them I'm doing no such thing and I just made friends with him . They laughed at me and the one I assumed to be their leader slapped me in the face. Wow , I guess I'm done being nice . I hate people who bully the weak repeatedly and I won't watch someone beat me up for something so stupid . She wanted to slap me again and I held her hand . She was surprised by how bold I was and she flinched a bit . 'Raise your hand at me one more time and I will make you regret it' I said threateningly . She snatched her hand from me and gave me a kick in the stomach . I slapped her very hard and she fell down . I had a good laugh because someone who bully others is taken down by just a slap . She told her minions to attack me , one of them threw a punch at me and I stopped her hand in mid air and gave her a punch in the stomach . The other one charged at me and I sent her a complimentary kick and she fell on the one that got a punch in the stomach. I went to meet their leader and told her 'when someone is not interested in you , don't get angry at the person they are interested in Check yourself. Stop it and get some help' . I dusted my dress and catwalked to the bus station . I missed my bus because of those dumb trios so I had to take a cab then I realized I left my purse at home that morning. Argghh what an unlucky day. I called my brother to come pick me up and he said he is coming.

I sat by the bench and pressed my phone while waiting for my brother. I was lost in my phone and didn't realize a car packed in front of me already. The driver came down and walked towards me . Lo and behold it was Felix ....

Felix POV

Mike called me and asked me to help pick his sister up. I asked him what happened and he said he doesn't know . He told me where she is and I set out immediately. When I got to where she was she was on her phone , she didn't even notice someone parked at her front . I walked up to her and when she saw me she was very surprised . I greeted get and I told her Mike sent me to pick her up. She said okay and asked if it was convenient for me. I told her it was and she got up and moved to the car.

I noticed her dress is rough and I asked what happened. She told me about what happened and how they've been disturbing her and how she has been ignoring it untill today when she couldn't take it anymore. For some reason I felt proud when I heard what she said and I'm relieved she knows how to take care of herself.

I reminded her of what I said I had to show her and she said we should take care of that today . I asked if it was okay to stay out the night and she said she have to get permission from her parents before she could conclude on staying out . I drove to her house and she got down to go in. She said her byes and told me she will call me if her mom agrees on her staying out. I watched her go in and I started the car and zoomed off .

I made up my mind to show her my true form today and whatever the consequences is , I will look for a way to sort it. I already discussed it with my dad and he gave me his go ahead . There is no point in delaying what will still happen . I told Chris about my decision and he told me to be careful about it and make sure she feels safe when I reveal my true form to her.

She called me around 7pm and told me to come pick her up . I got to her place about thirty minutes later. That was the first time she came to my house . I cooked for her and the three of us including Chris ate together. We conversed a lot and when it was 9pm Chris sent her a PDF and told her to read it . It was about werewolves and mates . She seemed interested in it and she read through the whole stuff. She finished it and asked if werewolves are real and that it would be really great if she could meet one.

When it was past midnight , Felix woke her up and told her it's time to see what he wanted to show her . Chris followed them but he stood at the entrance of the forest to hunt for animals because he was thirsty for blood . She seemed afraid at first but then as we went deeper into the forest I held her hand and told her she's not gonna get hurt and I'm going to protect her .

Angela POV

We kept going deep into the forest , much to my amazement I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be. He held my hand and told me in going to be fine . We stopped at a clearing that looks like it is regularly frequented by some animals judging by the footprint. He gave me the bag he took with him , I didn't understand why he took extra clothes with him when we were about to leave the house but I didn't ask. He asked me to sit down and he sat next to me 'what you are going to see is going to be shocking but I don't want you to be afraid . It's me and I'm not going to hurt you' . Something about the way he said that made my heart go out for him because I could feel his desperation and I assured him I'm not going to be afraid . Something in me tells me that I have no need to be afraid since he is going to take care of me . He asked me to watch him carefully and then he moved backwards from where I sat down. I stood up to get a better view of whatever it was he wanted to do but the moment I stood up , I lost my footing because of the sudden bone snapping sounds I heard . I immediately stood up to look at his direction and what I saw made me weak. It was exactly like what I read about wolf transformation in the PDF Chris sent to me. I gaped at him as I watch his bone conforming into the shape of a wolf. The clothes on his body ripped to shreds . Now I know why he took the extra clothing . He finished transforming and stood in front of me. My hand willingly went into his fur to rub it . He howled at the action and I flinched and held back my hand . I felt as if the wolf is communicating with me . Before I had time to process everything I saw I passed out .

Felix POV

I worried about how she is going to take my transformation but I can't back out now that I've set out on showing her. We got to the clearing and I had her sit down at a safe spot then moved back and started transforming. She stood there with a wild pair of eyes as she stared at me . I finished transforming and my wolf moved close to her and she rubbed my fur. It felt really good and I felt the electric tingles throughout my entire body. She fainted right after so I had to shift back into my human form . I wore the spare cloth I took from home and carried her and started heading to my apartment . Now all that is left to do is wait for her to wake up and hear what she thinks .

She woke up after two hours and the first thing she asked is if she was in a dream . I told her it wasn't a dream and that was my true form . She asked why I showed that to her and I told her it's because she is my mate . She didn't argue with me. I continued telling her about how she would have been feeling the signs too . She started crying and I asked why she was crying but she couldn't respond and she just continued crying .

Angela POV

How can I be his mate when I'm just a human . How am I supposed to live among wolves when I don't even have any super powers . I'm going to be a source of weakness to him . People that have a bone to pick with him are going to attack him through me . How am I supposed to feel knowing I'm definitely going to cause him trouble the in the meantime .

'You are going to be in trouble because of me ' I said to him . I saw his eyes soften and then he pulled me to himself and hugged me . He didn't say anything and waited for me to come back to myself while patting my head . I started falling asleep because of the head rub and before I slipped into unconscious he said 'you are never going to be a burden to me' .

Felix POV

I expected this , she is anxious . I'm glad she took the news about me being a werewolf and about her being my mate well . But she is worried about being a burden to me. She is terrified because she thinks she is going to be a source of weakness to me . I will never see her as a weakness . In a way she is a source of strength to me because knowing I have someone I need to protect will make me want to work harder on myself .

I laid her on the bed and went into the living room. Chris was waiting for me there and he asked me if I was alright immediately I entered. I told him I was alright and that it's nothing to worry about. We said our goodnights and he went into his room. I went into my room and took a shower , my wolf wanted to lie down beside Angela and since I want the same thing too I didn't object . I laid beside her and held her in my arms as I fall asleep .....
