As the tears came into her eyes from sheer happiness, he drew Roxana into the bedroom and took first the wreath from her head and then her veil. He looked at her for a moment and then gently pulled pins from her hair so it fell over her shoulders. She was trembling with an excitement that she had never known before as he took her once again into his arms. “You are mine,” he murmured. “Mine, my adorable, perfect little wife.
