When Love Lasts

CHAPTER 7

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

Weeks have passed and everything went well. About the resort, well I think we could finish it after this week.

By the way, I'm standing in front of the resort, checking everything if they were in their proper places. And I think they were there though.

And about Sylvester. He changed. Why? Coz he's being so sweet and caring for these past few days. And I'm kinda confused for his sudden change though.

He's not the old Sylvester I knew. Old Sylvester is not that sweet...I mean like these past few weeks, Sylvester always gave me flowers and chocolates as in every day! As far as I know, the old him would just hug and kiss me.

" What the hell Camila! That was before I was an i***t because you both were together and so on!"

Hell yeah!aaaaah right but hugging me was one of them even though we were friends!

Next is he's very overprotective/ caring over me. Well, let me tell you a short story or whatever may you call it.

One day, I was inside the resort with Sylvester, I heard him saying something from afar and pointing his fingers on the top but I didn't mind him nor listen to him coz I'm busy checking the surroundings and the workers who are working everywhere. I walk and walk until I step on something that makes me fall and I heard the cement from above went down because I step on the rope that made me fall on the ground. I was praying that time coz I know the cement will hit me. I tried to stand my body but it aches in pain. f**k was all I said. Until the cement was going to hit me I heard someone shouted my name and a pair of shoes running in my direction. He quickly held me out of there and I heard the cement blow. That was so close. I cried and hugged him. He shushes me and pats my back to stop and calm me. Seconds later I feel that my eyes got heavy, my eyes slowly closed and the last thing I heard is Sylvester who's shouting my name.

I woke up in our cottage and I heard someone was crying by my side. I look at in my right side and I saw Sylvester crying on my hands murmuring "please wake up" I move my hands and put it in his face and caress it. He look up and he was shocked to see me awake. He quickly hugged me and say sorry. I told him that is not his fault but he insist. Stubborn as ever!

Starting that day he always followed me wherever I went. He also stole my responsibility as an architect because he doesn't want me in that situation again. And he said it's very dangerous. I argued back, of course, I love my job! But arguing with him was useless, he f*****g won! He threatened me that if I stopped him he would send me home and stop me from working! That i***t!!

But because I'm f*****g stubborn and bored in our cottage doing nothing like sitting, reading books, eating and sleeping and so on! I came out and went there by myself.

Sylvester wasn't here because he had a meeting. And our friends were with him also. He said I shouldn't go out without someone with me but the stubborn me put that aside and did what I wanted to do.

He can't just order me around! I hate someone ordering me coz I have my own life and he has his. He should mind his own business!

I know that he just cared for my safety but that doesn't mean that he should order what I should do and not.

By the way, he won't know that I came here because he's busy talking to his partners in business and so on. His meeting will end around 4:00 in the afternoon.

Of Course, I planned it! Ha, how genius I am.The last time I tried I failed and in my situation right now I can say that I succeeded.

Time check: 3:30 pm and I have 30 minutes before I go back.

I'm smiling while looking at the resort. The design was made by me and daddy. The design was simple but elegant. I'm really excited to finish this resort as soon as possible and of course, I can rid of Sylvester after that.

I was laughing at my own thoughts but then it faded away when I heard someone familiar called my name.

"CAMILA."

Heyah! Sorry for the late update, there is a lot of school work to do so I'm really sorry!

I tried my best to update and this is the day I'm free to write!
