“Yes, it’s Elliot’s,” Isabelle confirmed on the phone as she spoke to Erin “we’re on our way there. We’re just about to leave.”
“Oh, who’s going with you?” Erin asked.
“My friend, Sofia,” Isabelle replied as she climbed in the SUV to sit beside Sofia who looked at her with questioning eyes. She covered the phone and sheepishly smiled at her “my friend Erin is asking who I’m going with to the restaurant.”
Sofia nodded in understanding and asked Dustin to start driving. She had not slept well last night because of the conversation she had with Jonathon. He is livid and apparently, so is Delnard when they found out that they were going to the city for lunch.
If the circumstances were different, Sofia would have argued against her husband to justify hers and Isabelle’s jaunts into the city
