"How do you have access to this," I ask, watching her key in a code that clearly isn't standard floor clearance.
"Old privileges nobody bothered to revoke. Voss's people assumed once they broke me, I'd never come back for more." She pulls out a thin folder, nothing like the thick acquisition contracts from the archive room. "This is what I've been avoiding showing you. Internal underwriting criteria. How Vantage decides which converted policyholders get flagged for targeted contracts instead of standard ones."
"Flagged how?"
"Sit down. This isn't simple."
