I hate to sound so dismissive and even ungrateful when I say that I was less than thrilled to do the human wedding thing because we are wolf shifters with our own laws and code. I had my mate and yet the ceremony still seemed necessary for reasons I was not believing from the moment it was told to me. I felt like it was a spectacle for legal paperwork our legal team could easily handle. Something in my gut was screaming at me to pay attention to details and read more into this. My instincts have never steered me wrong before, so I wasn’t about to ignore them now. I was really grateful my office was now in our room when I decided to dig into the real reasons behind this wedding. It was a dog and pony show for someone, but for who was the mystery.
