Candance's POV
I was drenched in water. I suddenly opened my eyes to find myself in a pool after only experiencing the sensation of water. I fought for air as I flailed my arms in an effort to rise to the surface. I struggled and attempted, but it was ineffective as I could feel myself sinking farther beneath the surface. Just as I was about to give up, a powerful wave swept me out of the sea and onto the land.
I tried to get to my feet, stood tall, and turned to look for help when I noticed a picnic blanket on the ground covered in a lot of food. Chloe and Oakley were seated together, eating and having fun. I grinned at what I saw, and then I noticed Oakley' head rising.
He said to me, "Come my love, join us, we missed you."
