My voice was trembling as I said, "Okay," as I wasn't sure what he wanted to talk about.
Is he about to finish rejecting you? What will he say next? And what will happen to Chloe and I if he continues to reject us?
He yelled, "Are you paying any attention to me?," and I was immediately snapped out of my reverie.
I nodded and listened to him, trying not to nod off once more. "Yes, Alpha."
