Candance's POV
She led me away, and I nodded at her as I followed. She led me into a smaller room with a door that looked similar to Oakley' office door.
We went inside once she pushed the door open.
I looked around the space in awe. There were numerous book shelves against the white-painted walls, and they were all stocked with volumes.
Right in the middle of the room stood a work table with what appeared to be a comfortable cushion behind it. Tall glass windows spanned the far end of the space and were accented with beautiful golden colored curtains. There were two more chairs in front of the table as well.
She went around the table and said, "Welcome to my office, Candance. I can see you take it to your taste."
