Lost in her thoughts

Ajan POV

I got ready for inaugural ceremony in the university where I was going to study for 4 years to get graduated. I checked the time it was 9 in the morning it was too early to reach the university. The ceremony was at 10 it takes only 15 mins drive from my home. So I thought to call my bestie who was going to study with me in the same university but with a different course. He was interested in finance so he selected a different one.

He picked the call after 3 rings “ hey bro” I heard his voice from other side which was energetic and enthusiastic. “hey are you ready or u still need time to do makeup just like girls?” I teased him for which I got a groan from him. He took very good care of his skin due to his hypersensitive skin even a small pimple on his face is enough to make him ugly . He had suffered a lot from that before 6 months now he had a fair skin with no scars the doctor has advised to use only selected products which was prescribed by him. “I'm ready bro I was just waiting for your call, shall I start now ?” he asked me , “ Yes get started and come to my home we both are going together” I informed him “ that sounds great buddy” saying this he hung up the call. I went to the dinning hall to have my breakfast which was ready to have . I served myself when I was about to have a hand landed on my shoulder with a evil smile on his face. I groaned by seeing him, he has this bad habit of entering the home without knocking. He seated beside me “don’t be angry bro u know about me right get used to me “ spiting out those he started to have breakfast. His house was only 10 mins drive away from my home I still wonder how he used to drive so quick that he can reach me in 5 mins. We finished our breakfast with little chitchat about the party in the night which was thrown by one of my friend and headed towards the university. I parked my car in the parking lot and turned my heels towards the lift to reach upto the ceremony hall. Once we entered the hall it was filled with laughters of the beautiful girls who was busy in chit-chatting each other I made my way towards my seat which was allotted according to the courses Jack went to his seat both got busy in finding new friends. I had a lot friends from my school I love to make friends with everyone . My eyes fell on a lady who started walking towards the diase my mind said soon the function was going to start. 

Then my eyes landed on a beautiful girl who was walking beside me towards the science course and made herself comfortable on the seat allotted for her.  She was wearing a red gown with sleeveless she has made her hairs into bun she had a flawless skin with perfect shaped body. I did not see her face as soon as I saw her she passed besides me “go and make her your friend” my subconscious mind said. Soon I stood up to my feet then I heard a voice from the diase getting everyone’s attention towards her . I groaned and took my seat back. My eyes did not leave the beauty, I did not give any glance on the diase about the lady and her talk I was lost in the beauty of that girl. I did not hear a single word from the diase and it has been 2 hours I was just looking at her from the back , everyone dispersed to have lunch and to return back to the hall where still many programs were held. I stood to my feet and made my way to the girl she was waiting for the lift “ hey beautiful” I said as soft as I can she turned her heels to find me there I was lost in her beauty – her eyes were brown in which all the emotions were seen and it was big as I was able to swim in those emotions. She made her hairs into bun, her lips were perfectly shaped she used a light red lipstick to give a simple look and to match her dress. I introduced myself and gave her a warm smile she retuned the smile back politely with introducing herself. We both entered the lift even the AC was on I felt sweat forming on my forehead and it was so suffocating she pressed the ground button, I came to know she was going to parking lot.

This is the first time I was feeling tensed to speak to a girl, I was not a tensed boy but I dono what was making me tense from inside. I made my throat clear “ I introduced myself and was asking her to be my friend” but I was cut off by her which she gave a pointed look and said “ I’m from different course I think friends from different course does not work out” I stood still hearing her shock filled in my brain and face . This is the first time a girl is rejecting me to be her friend I was frustrated and got angry on her I fist my hand to control my anger. I went directly to the headmistress office to meet her and inform that I was going to change my course and study science. Once I made myself clear to her she tried to get the reason from me for my change of course but I was so stubborn I did not give her any answer and took an excuse from her. I went to the 7th floor where again the program got started and each one of them were enjoying. I gave a call to Jack without wasting time he answered the call “ I’m going home are you coming with me or you are going to stay till the end of the function?” before completing my words he was infront of me with lot of questions in his mind.

 We went back to my home, I took a cold shower to calm my veins from anger. I started to play video game in my room. Whenever I’m angry either I used to break their teeth or bones but this was different I dono why I stood still after her reply so this is the only thing I can divert myself from her. Jack came to know that I was angry he did not question me anything once he made sure that I was in my room he went back. 

I was so lost in her thoughts and words I came back to my senses when my mobile rang with heavy noise , I did not even notice the time from noon. It was 10 in the night s**t! Today there was a party thrown by one of my friend tomorrow he was going to US to complete his graduation. I notice the caller id it was non other than Jack I cursed myself for being so lost in her thoughts and attended the call. It was in loudspeaker everyone started to shout on me for my absence “ok I’m coming in a few minutes” with his I hung up the call. I was unable to hear there yellings. Soon I attended the party where we got drunk and enjoyed a lot.
