Few moments passed, and I started to feel hungry again.

“Whoa, that sounds pretty strong, dude!” Lee Jun said while laughing.

“Uh sorry for that haha!” I replied while laughing too.

We all laughed after that.

“Well, you must be really hungry buddy! I told you to eat with us earlier, but you insisted that you were still full! No, you cannot lie anymore! Your body is telling us that you are not really full haha!” One of our comrades said.

“Well, I didn’t eat with you guys earlier because there would be no one left to eat with Lee Jun! I am sure anyone who does not have any companion to eat would be really lonely, right Lee?” I said while smiling.

“What? You did that because of me?” Lee Jun asked.

“Yeah of course! I did not do that thing just for you! I am always willing to do that with all of you!” I said while smiling.

“Well, that sounds sweet bud! But you don’t have to do that! Look at your condition! You are still in a state of recovery; you should eat and drink as long as you felt hungry! I understand that you care about everyone’s feelings and we all respect that. However, you should not do such actions like that again, okay?” Lee Jun replied.

“What is wrong with that? It was hard to eat without companion so I waited for you!” I said.

“Yeah, I understand your point bud! But you shouldn’t do that thing especially when you have such conditions like that!” Lee Jun replied.

“But!” I said.

“Gen, stop it.  I think Lee Jun was right! I think you shouldn’t do such things like that! You are still recovering and with that case, you need to replace your body’s lost strength by eating and drinking. However, we really appreciate your effort, but please do not do that again especially when you are in a condition like that!” One of our comrades said.

“What?” I asked them seriously.

“Gen, listen to us okay? Sometimes you should sacrifice other things just for the sake of other factors no matter how hard you want to achieve it. In your case, I really love your effort, but it was bad because you are still in a state of recovery which means that you have to eat when you are hungry. I am not saying this because I am mad to you or to the thing that you have done, I am just saying this because this was the right thing. Am I right, buddies?” Lee Jun said while smiling.

“Yeah!” All of our other comrades agreed.

“Well…” I said disappointedly.

“I hope you do not misunderstand us, Gen. We are only trying to protect you because we love you! Do you want to see us get worried again because of you are sick? Do you want to stay again in that hospital all by yourself?” Lee Jun asked.

“No, of course not! That place was insane! I cannot imagine myself staying in that place ever again!” I replied.

“You see? That is what we are talking about!” Lee Jun said.

“Yeah I get it.” I said with a poker face.

“Hey! Don’t be sad! I appreciate your effort buddy! We all do! We are only worried about your condition that is why we are saying these things!” Lee Jun said.

“So stop being sad, alright? We are not mad at you! We are just afraid that you might get sick again! Come on, don’t be sad! We all appreciate you, pal!” Lee Jun added.

“Yeah, I am not sad. It was just…” I said.

“What?” Lee Jun asked curiously.

“It was just my tummy. It was really calling me since earlier, so uh can we please get something to eat right now? Since Lee was already here, there’s no one to wait to. Please, I want to eat now! I am really hungry as hell! So if you would guys excuse me for a moment, I would like to excuse myself and get something to eat now. Then, maybe we can get back to this conversation later on after I and Lee Jun were done eating.” I said seriously.

Everyone laughed at me upon hearing the words that I said in front of them.

“Hahahahaha! Look at you poor thing! Upon hearing those words, it looks like you didn’t eat for a whole year!” Lee Jun said while laughing so hard.

“Yeah! hahahahaha! That was really true, buddy! If we don’t know you and we heard you saying that word, believe me; we would feel pity for you!” My other comrade said while laughing so hard too.

“What is wrong with you people? I thought you all wanted me to eat in order for me to get my strength back as soon as possible? Then, why are you all laughing at me? I honestly do not get your point buddies!” I said with astonishment.

“Hahahahaha! Just never mind them, Gen!” Lee Jun said.

“Wait what? Don’t pretend that you are an innocent! You are also laughing at me upon hearing the words that I said earlier!” I replied.

“Forgive me for that! I was just surprised that you’re really hungry!” Lee Jun said.

“Well, I am sure that I am not in position to make any demands here to you guys. But, I would like to ask some food for her! Look at her, she looks really hungry! Can someone get some food and beverages for her, please?” Lee Jun added.

“I’ll go get some!” One of our comrades said.

“Thank you! I am sure I am also in no position to make any demands too. But, can I have those drinks ice cold, please? I am really begging you, please.” I said seriously.

“Sure! Anything for you Gen!” My comrade said.

“Thank you! I promise to make it up with all of you as soon as I recover from this thing!” I replied.

“No, you don’t have to bud! It’s alright with me! As long as it can help you recover back to your normal state as soon as possible, then I wouldn’t hesitate to do it for you!” My comrade said.

“Thank you, that was really touchy!” I replied.

“Well, it seems that these foods inside our quarters weren’t enough for Gen, so maybe I am going to get out for me to get as much as I could. Can someone help me get some beverages for Gen? I am really sorry but I just cannot handle those two things all by myself!” My comrade said.

“Okay, I’ll go with you!” Our other comrade said.

“Thanks. Now that we are all set, I would like to excuse ourselves. Wait for us, alright Gen? I promise to make it quick as much as we could so we can get back to you as soon as possible!” My comrade said.

“It’s alright, no rush guys! I can still manage this hunger. I will wait for you to come back here! Do not rush yourselves, just do it the normal way you used to and I will be just here waiting for the two of you! Again, I am really sorry for this inconvenience!” I said.

“This was just nothing, bud! We are ready to do anything for you!” My comrades said.

“Thank you buddies! I appreciate all of your efforts!” I replied.

“Well, if that was the case, I would like to say good bye for now. We are not going to waste any time here anymore; instead we are now going to get some food and beverages outside! Be right back, buddies!” My comrade said.

“Oh hey I remember, I would like to ask for Gen’s memorandum, Lee Jun. You know, just in case those guards were hard to please along the way, I do not want to cause any delay to our hungry comrade here!” My comrade added.

“Oh, okay! Here you go!” Lee Jun said.

Lee Jun handed my memorandum to our comrade.

“Take care of that thing, alright? That thing was the only thing that’s keeping Gen safe from those abusive officials. You know how hard they were all trying just to get Gen away from us, right?” Lee Jun said.

“Yes, we all know that Lee!” Our comrade said.

“So I hope you guys take that thing with the best care you can give, alright? I am counting to the both of you!” Lee Jun said.

“Yes pal! We’ll take care of this!” Our comrade said.

They didn’t waste any time upon saying those words. They left our quarters with my memorandum with them.

“Hey Lee!” I said.

“Yeah?” Lee Jun answered.

“Is it really hard to get out without that thing with you?” I asked him curiously.

“Yeah, it was really hard as hell! When I get out earlier finding the nurse, the guards asked me several times about where I am going. I just told them that I am going to get some antiseptic and medicine for you. They all doubted me and even asked for proof, and then I showed them your memorandum which I borrowed from you earlier. Upon seeing your memorandum, they let me pass. Then, I saw another three batches of guards again while I am on my way to the hospital. Then, the same thing goes; they all keep on asking me about where I am going. I kept on telling them that I am outside to get some medical supplies for you, yet they all kept on asking me proof. We are lucky you had that memorandum, or else I think it would be really hard for us to get out.” Lee Jun said.

“Whoa! Is that true? Then they must be really taking this matter seriously! They wouldn’t do that if this was just a simple matter, right?” Our other comrade said.

“Yeah, I even encountered other cadets while I was outside earlier. They were all outside to get some supplies for their mates too, but the guards told them to come back a little later. At the end, the guards didn’t let them to pass. I saw them being stuck and disappointed while I am moving towards the hospital. That memorandum was really our savior!” Lee Jun said.

“Oh by the way, what’s with those guards earlier? I honestly do not know what happened here earlier but it looks like both sides got really heated, right? When I arrived, it looks like both sides were ready to engage in a fight. So can someone tell me what really happened here?” Lee Jun said.

“Well those guards came here earlier to ask Gen to come with them. Of course, we wouldn’t allow that thing to happen because she was still recovering from her injuries! The guards insisted that Gen should come with them whatever happens. They told us that they were given orders by the high table, and they were only following those orders! Our comrade Paulo together with our comrades Marco and Sylvester insisted that Gen would stay here. The guards even told us that we could get punished if we didn’t allow Gen to come with them because the orders were given by the high table! We are lucky that Paulo has the nerve to disagree with them! It looks like he is already willing to engage to a fight with those guards earlier. He didn’t show any signs of being afraid while speaking with those guards. We are really lucky he’s here earlier together with us! Also, we are lucky because you arrived before they all got into a fight. It seems that it was our lucky day today.” My other comrade said.

“Well I guess so. The only thing that we should worry about right now is how we are going to keep Gen safely away from them. That memorandum was only valid for one week. I am sure they would all come back here after one week to take Gen!” Lee Jun said.
