Gabriel and Cassie continued on their journey to the Vampire nest, having next to nothing to say to one another. It felt tense, with having no words for one another. Gabriel had not given in to Cassie despite her advances. He wanted her to understand why he wouldn't take her up on the offer but in her mind, she knew all too well.
