CHAP 16

CHAPTER 16: Date

"Do you like my surprise?", Lorenzo asked nervously. Though he didn't prepare it, he doesn't want to see her girl's disappointed look.

"Yes!", she answered enthusiastically with her eyes glowing in excitement and flowers blooming around her. "I love it so much! It looks so beautiful! I've never seen anything like this in my entire life!"

Lorenzo released a sigh, he was so glad she liked the place.

He offered the seat like a gentleman. Instead of a normal date where both participants are at both ends of the table, he brought his chair right next to her, his intention of course is so that he could simply observe and touch her more.

"Eat! I'm sure you haven't eaten yet."

"Thank you", she sweetly smiled.

She carefully picked the food that suited her taste and gracefully ate it. Watching her closely, he knew that she was well-mannered at the table but there's only one problem that ticking him off.

"She's eating so little!", he thought.

He grabbed the knife and the fork, sliced a steak putting it on her plate. She was grateful at first but as he keeps adding more mountain of food she literally had an 'Oh my god' look very visible on her face.

"Y-You don't need to add any more food...", she stopped him. "I think I'm already full."

"No!... You need to eat more!", he insisted.

Having no choice she ate all the food he put on her plate. He looks like a wolf fattening up his rabbit prey ready to be devoured for later. After being fed up with lots of food, Savannah rested her back on the chair. She's never been that full in her entire life, Mia has been taking her to restaurants but she doesn't eat much even if she forces her.

Unfortunately, the food journey doesn't end there, right next after the entrées are the desserts. Unable to fit any more food in her stomach, Savannah thought of a great idea. Taking a spoonful of chocolate mousse, she brought it to Lorenzo's mouth with the intention of feeding him. Seeing her take the initiative to feed her, he just couldn't refuse. Lorenzo is practically very strict on his diet but today he's breaking it. She constantly fed Lorenzo with sweets.

After their dinner, he brought her out of the greenhouse to a nearby lake. The place was so peaceful, only the chirping noises of the insects could be heard, fireflies were also roaming around and the bright reflection of the moon at the lake makes it more enticing.

Savannah loves the place. Watching a peaceful place like this makes her think of her past. She got distracted from her thoughts when she felt Lorenzo hold her hand. She was surprised when he knelt on his knees.

"I'm sure that things become messy when I showed up in your life but please I want you to listen to me. I know I was a bastard at the hotel, I forced you that night and just declared you mine out of nowhere without your permission. I'm really sorry about that. I know sorry is not enough and I greatly reflected on it so... I will change for you. This jerk will change for your sake."

She could hear the sincerity in his voice which made her smile.

"I haven't done this before but right now I want you to know that I seriously love you. Would you please be my girlfriend?", he inserted a cute little ring on her finger.

She never expected anything like that. She was moved from his words and nodded her head.

"Yes!", Lorenzo exclaimed and started to peck with kisses.

The two went back to the greenhouse. The table full of dishes earlier were gone, only two glasses and a bottle of wine is on it. The two began to talk more about each other as they drank the wine.

Savannah didn't disclose much information about her but they enjoyed each other's company on tonight's date. As the night goes on, Savannah felt light-headed (^Savannah's Alcohol Tolerance: Low^).

"Baby, you okay?", he asked worriedly.

"Yeah...yeah...I'm fine, I think I'm a little bit drunk", she answered, her body is almost wobbling from drunkness.

"You're not totally fine at all!". He stood up and carefully took her in his arms like a princess. "We'll head up to bed. You're really drunk right now."

He carried her all the way to the bedroom (^no worries she's not very heavy^) and laid her down on the soft bed. He removed her shoes and was about to remove her jeans to change in a nightwear when Savannah suddenly sat up. She looked at Lorenzo, examining him carefully. Her next move greatly surprised Lorenzo, she grabbed his collar and pressed her lips to his. After a minute passed she let go of him and dropped her body on the bed like a child satisfied after a goodnight kiss.
