BY THE TIME SARAH WALKED out into the living room the pizza was ready. Raif was huddled around the serving platter sitting on the coffee table, dishing himself up three healthy slices. A Country song played softly in the background, coming from a stereo nestled in the far corner of the living room. The music lulled her already peaceful mood further and she smiled as she watched Raif take a huge bite of what she hoped was pepperoni pizza. "Hey, leave some for me!" Sarah reacted to the moment, feeling carefree, forgetting she was supposed to keep a physical and emotional distance from this man.
