THE ENTIRE MORNING Sarah did her best to avoid Raif, and concentrated on cleaning the house. Earlier she cleaned out the refrigerator and now she worked in the living room. She had already dusted, taken down the dingy drapes, and was now trying to get the carpet halfway decent looking.
