*TRIGGER WARNING* Lying on the ground, the cold, hard earth beneath me, I was trapped in a nightmare that seemed to have no end. Clive and Ragen loomed over me, their faces twisted masks of cruelty and anticipation. It disturbed me, the uncanny resemblance they bore to their sons, a perverse reflection of the men I had come to know in such a different light. The thought was a fleeting distraction from the fear that clawed at my insides. A fear made all the more real by my utter helplessness.
