The hustle and bustle of the book world never stopped. It was forever changing and so were the readers. The things they wanted last year weren't the things they demanded this year, and I struggled to stay true to myself and not write to gain fans. I'd promised myself long ago, I would write the stories my characters wanted told, not the ones my readers wanted to read.
