Chapter 4

460 Words
Groaning I roll over and throw the blankets over my head. "This is so UNFAIR." I grumble. "Nothing is fair. Did you enjoy your dream?" I jerk bolt upright in bed at the unfamiliar voice. It's still dark in my room and standing in the middle is the man in white. Who I assume is named Derek. I glare at him, putting years of hate into my eyes. "What the f**k are you doing here? You are not welcome in my house." He gazes at me coldly. "You made a mistake and I am here to make you realize that." I smile snidely and sneer, "I'd rather make a mistake and be with Hades than with you. You've forced me into your arms for years. I finally found the power to turn from you and you are just mad that, given my own free will and making my own choice, I didn't choose you. Now, get over it, and get out of my home." He takes a step towards me and I bare my teeth at him in a snarl and pick up a shoe from the floor beside my bed. "You come any closer and I swear I'm going to beat you with this shoe." He eyes me speculatively then glances at the shoe and his eyes widen as he realizes I'm holding a six and a half inch stiletto pump in my hand. "I will not hesitate to f**k you up with this shoe if you come any closer to me." His mouth twists up into a snarl and he sneers at me. "You have no idea who you're talking to do you?" "I don't care who you are. I told you to get out, and that you are not welcome here. As of the moment you refused to leave, you became and intruder and a trespasser."  His eyes widen. "I understand that human law may not apply to you, but it does to me. So you have a bout five seconds to get the f**k out before I make good on my promise to beat you with this shoe." I glare daggers at him, willing him to leave. "I really don't want blood on my carpet." I hold up my hand, fingers spread, palm towards him. Slowly I tick down. 5…4…3… he screws his face up into a snarl and hisses "This is not the end of this. I WILL be back." 2…1… and he vanishes. Flopping back on my bed I drop the shoe to the floor and glance at the clock. 5AM flashes at me in red numbers. Well I suppose now is good a time as ever to get some chores done, I think to myself.
