Raya’s POV
“What do you think? Should we get it?” Dane asked as we looked down at the blue sapphire necklace. It matched Amaya’s eyes so well, I thought it would make a good gift. I missed her already, but I spoke to her when I could.
“I think she’d like it.” I nodded.
Dane and I had woken up this morning in pure bliss. Granted, my body was hurting all over, but last night was well worth it. It was as if Dane could read my mind and give me exactly what I wanted. Now I understand why Amaya had so many hookups. s*x is amazing!
After breakfast, Dane insisted we walk around and get to know the area better before my ceremony tonight. It made sense to me, as we really should know our people better. Everyone was so friendly and very kind. They would shower us with gifts or food when we stop
