“Where are you coming from this late?” I asked my son as he walked into the house looking tired.
“Hey Mum I didn't see you there.” he said as he walked to me and placed a kiss on my cheek.
“You haven't answered my question young man. Where have you been after school? I thought I told you during breakfast to make sure you return home early because we will be having guest coming over?” I narrowed my eyes at him.
“Mum can you stop scolding me like I am a five year old. Besides after school I went to Dean's house so we could go visit Ari together. She has been sick and hasn't been coming to school so we decided to pay her a visit to see how she is doing.” he replied.
Now I couldn't scold him because he has a very valid reason why he is just coming now.
