ARIANNA POV
I opened my eyes and was startled when I saw Stefano sleeping beside me. I wasn't expecting him to be back this early.
I turned to look at him very well. He was sleeping so peacefully and he looked so relaxed. I raised my hand and began to play with his hair softly.
I saw his eyes moving making me to quickly pull my hand away from his hair but I was too late. He opened his eyes the moment I removed my hand.
His blue eyes looked at me before some seconds they shined so brightly.
“Good morning Regina.” he said sounding so tired although he was just waking up from sleep.
“Morning Re. Is everything okay because you sound so tired?” I asked him.
“Last night during our patrol Nicholas was attacked.” he answered.
