The sound of the door unlocking made me sit up fast. Stefano walked in struggling with his neck tie.
I got down from the bed to meet him.
“Welcome back. How did the meeting go?” I asked him as I helped him lose the tie he was struggling with earlier.
“The meeting was a long one and it was really stressful but at least I got to sign the alliance treaty with the alpha.” he said tiredly.
“So does that mean what you came for here is over? Like you can finally go home?” I asked him.
“Yes I can go home but I am not leaving immediately.” he answered.
