Jem turned a page. "Heyyy," a sultry voice came over her shoulder. Jem continued to read. "Hello," the voice repeated, a little whinier this time. "Excuse me, can I have your attention?" Jem raised an eyebrow and kept on reading. "Hey," the voice said triumphantly. "You moved your eyebrow! That was a reaction, right?" Jem blinked and did not move for thirty seconds. "Okay, that's just unfair," Sunny grunted. "Turn around!" Jem swiveled the chair around and crossed her arms. "Well?" Grinning, Sunny climbed onto her lap and put her arms around her neck. "Thank you very much," she smiled brightly and wiggled slightly. "Now, pretty girl…what are you working on?" "Nothing in particular," Jem replied impassively, "Oh? What were you reading?
