His arrival was a surprise

Ivy looked at the man expectantly, trying to figure out who he was. Her eyes couldn't escape the figure standing just a few steps away from her, blocked by the bars. The man looked calm and confident, with a mysterious gaze visible behind his mask. "Who are you?" Ivy's voice sounded hoarse. The man chuckled, lowering his head for a moment before looking back at Ivy, this time with a piercing look in his eyes. "You don't recognize me?" he asked like he was playing a game. Ivy shook her head, confused, and that made the man laugh harder. "Ah, of course. It was foolish of me to think you would remember me," he said with a sly smile. "But not for Ivy... I always remember you. Every word you said when you rejected me back then." Ivy's eyes widened. The tone of his voice made her hair stand on end. She took a step back, sensing more danger than she had ever imagined. Then, suddenly, the name popped into her mind, and her heart sank. "No way," she thought. "Edward Xavier," Ivy murmured softly, her voice trembling. The man smiled broadly, enjoying the fear in Ivy's eyes. "Finally, you know me," Edward said in a satisfied tone. "I've been waiting for this moment, Ivy. After you humiliated me first, now look who's in charge." Ivy felt her body tremble, not from cold but from fear. She knew that being in Edward Xavier's hands was far worse than anything she had experienced before. Edward was a man she had once rejected, someone with great power, and now he seemed to be enjoying the power he had. She thought that her rejection wouldn't cause any new problems in her life, but she was wrong. They were planning something far worse, something no one had even thought of. "What do you want from me, Edward?" asked Ivy, trying to remain calm despite her racing heart. Edward leaned closer. "What do I want?" He smiled wickedly. "I want you to feel what I used to feel. The shame, the pain, the helplessness... And maybe, a little solace before it's all over." Ivy swallowed, trying to calm herself down. "I'm not afraid of you," she said in a firm voice, though inside, the fear was growing. Edward smiled sarcastically, bringing his face closer to the bars. "We'll see how long your courage lasts," he whispered sharply. "This night has only just begun." Ivy was getting scared. Edward slowly turned around and looked at the crowd, who looked confused and disappointed that their hopes for the coveted "item" had been dashed. Edward smiled slyly, enjoying their agitation. "I'm sorry if I let you down," he said, sounding contrite. "But don't worry, I'll be kind to you." The crowd began to vocalize, confused and dissatisfied. Everyone waited to see what would happen next. Edward looked back at Ivy, his gaze cold. "Once I've had my fill of this woman," he said quietly but threateningly, "you will all have your turn." Cheers and laughter erupted from the crowd. Ivy felt their thirsty gazes, like hungry wolves staring at prey. The atmosphere grew tense. Edward approached the bars, smiling wickedly. "I could let them do it now," he whispered, "but that's not interesting. I want the fun to end on a high note." Ivy looked at him sternly despite her trembling. "You're not human, Edward. You're a monster!" she said hoarsely, holding back fear and anger. Edward laughed, his voice echoing. "You can call me anything, but tonight you are mine." He opened the cage door and pulled Ivy roughly, making her fall towards him. Edward hugged her tightly, making Ivy unable to move. His hand touched Ivy's face gently but menacingly. "Look at you now," Edward taunted. "You're in my hands, and they'll feel what I can feel." Edward pushed Ivy to the ground, accompanied by cheers and happy laughter. Ivy shivered, her face red with anger. She clapped her hands together, enduring the humiliation. Edward squatted in front of her, pulling her hair until Ivy's face lifted. "Ready for this game, baby?" he whispered mockingly. Ivy endured the pain, but her eyes were full of determination. "Just do it, Edward. But Arthur will give you life; he'll come and take his revenge on you." Instead of being scared, Edward laughed out loud. "Arthur? You think he'll come?" he exclaimed, his voice mocking. He turned to the crowd. "Listen to this, he said Arthur is coming! Do you believe that?" asked Edward, making the crowd laugh again. Ivy, however, kept her eyes fixed on Edward. "Arthur is coming," she said quietly but surely. "And when he does, you'll know what it means to be afraid." "Afraid? You expect me to be afraid?" Edward laughed, his voice full of mockery. "All of you, are you afraid of Arthur? Afraid of that loser?" The crowd laughed, but someone shouted, "Of course not! But who are you?" Edward stopped laughing, his gaze turning to the man who dared to question his identity. "I am your doom," he replied coldly but firmly. That only made Ivy smile sarcastically, and her laughter was clearly audible. "Why, why do you get angry when people ask about your identity?" he taunted. Ivy stood staring intently at the crowd. "Listen, everyone, he is Edward Xavier. Do you know what just happened to him? Now, he's the ugly face of the Xavier family; he looks like a monster and disgusting. Do you want to marry off your daughter to a monster-faced man like him?" "Shut up!" Edward felt humiliated, and he shouted angrily. Quickly, he took off his mask and threw it on the floor. His disfigured face was now clearly visible, leaving several people in the crowd shocked and speechless. It was no secret that one of the Xavier family members had just been in a terrible accident, his car catching fire. Although he was rescued, Edward suffered severe injuries. The once handsome man was now a monster with horrific burns on his face. Edward stepped closer to Ivy, his face full of anger. Roughly, he grabbed Ivy's hair and pulled her with his right hand. "You're making a big mistake by insulting me, Ivy!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling with anger. Her left hand tore off the top of Ivy's dress, exposing her upper body. Ivy was shocked; her breath caught, but she continued to stare at Edward bravely. Although frightened, her heart was filled with unquenchable hatred. "You will regret this," she said quietly but firmly. Edward gave him a sly look. "It's not me who will regret it, but you. I'm going to f**k you in front of everyone; let everyone see how wild you are on top of me." Ivy chuckled, glaring dismissively. "Go ahead. Let them see for themselves," she said loudly, "a slave being f****d by an animal like you!" Ivy's words made Edward even angrier. "You?! You b***h, go to hell!" He slapped Ivy hard across the face. Ivy fell to the floor, but her eyes remained defiant. When Edward reached out to pull Ivy up again, someone suddenly stopped him, followed by the loud bang of the door being forced open. "Stop it!" The voice broke the atmosphere, full of bravado. Edward stopped and turned around while Ivy stared expectantly at the voice.
