Liam hadn't believed her until she showed him the envelope with all the information in it. He read everything over three times before he said anything.
They found themselves back in the mayor's office. She was standing next to Liam right outside of the mayor's door. She clutched the envelope, and she realize that her breath had been caught in her throat.
Liam had tried to make her promise to let him to all the talking.
