She did find Liam at the diner. He was sitting alone at their booth. Before sitting across from him, Becky changed the song playing on the jukebox. She had gone directly from the car shop to the diner. She sat across from him.
"I didn't think I would see you here," Liam said.
"I was checking up on my car, talking to Declan, when Charles Green paid me a visit," Becky said. She was talking quickly and coolly. She needed Rachel so she could get her some coffee. Becky jumped right into it. She didn't want to make the usual pleasantries. She was still mad at him.
"At the shop?" Liam asked. It was no secret that Catherine's cousin had begun working at the shop. Becky nodded. She couldn't stop herself from grinning as she said, "He confessed to all of it. Declan heard too."
