Mia its time for bed." my mom yelled from downstairs. "Okay." I yelled back. I loved our relationship almost as much as I loved eating food, which is a lot. We lived in a gated community in the city of Rosedale, Maryland. I had everything I've ever wanted. One could say that my life was perfect. I finally snapped out of my thoughts and slid into bed. After making sure my phone was on the charger I fell asleep. Except that sleep didn't come easy tonight. I had one of those dreams where you watch what you're going through like a ghost. And I wasn't alone, there was a girl there with me but I don't remember anything. Why does sleep go by so fast it felt like my head had just hit the pillow, and I had just drifted off to sleep when I heard my moms voice in my ear. My eyes snapped open and I sat up only to bump heads with my mom. "Ow sweetie you have to be more careful. Hurry and get dressed, breakfast is downstairs." She left still rubbing her head. Yeah today is not going to be my day I thought as I hopped out of bed. I took a quick fifteen minute shower seeing as I had one last night. I stood in my closet looking for something to wear. It took me five minutes to decide on a pair camouflage pants with an olive green t-shirt. I pulled my hair into a pony tail to keep it out of my face. I sat down and began eating the food my mom made. I made sure to eat quickly or my mom would scold me again for being late to school. I rushed back upstairs and grabbed my bag, phone, charger and my special notebook. I drove my custom pink camaro to my best friend Hanna's house. I called to let her know I was outside. Like always she wasn't ready so while I was waiting I pulled my notebook out and began writing about the dream I had. It's a good thing I still remembered what happened. It was so weird, there was this little girl that was like 6 years old. And she was saying that she was my sister and that I had to find her. I was so into writing that I didn't hear Hanna get into the car. She shut my door and I jumped thinking someone was trying to attack me. Sensing how scared I was she started laughing at me. I tuned her out seeing as she was still laughing at me. It wasn't until I heard her say something about skipping school that I started paying attention again. "So Mia, I was thinking we should skip school and go to the mall. I have a test I didn't study for and besides they have a sale going on." She begged but I wasn't having it. See Hanna was the type that relied on her looks rather than her brain. Not saying she was stupid because shes actually very smart but she thinks being smart is a waste of time since she's so pretty. "You should've studied. I don't understand your logic at all. Besides if I skip then I won't be able to see Jake. Jake was my boyfriend of two years but lately we havent been connecting. "You're so unfair. You can see Jake anytime. Please Mia?" That kind of pissed me off. "Just like the mall will be there anytime. Just because I have a boyfriend and you dont doesnt mean I can just blow him off because you want to go the mall. God Hanna, theres more to life then shopping for pretty clothes. " I said. But even I can admit that was kind of harsh. "Okay tell you what, you take that test and after school I'll take you to the mall. Deal?" I said. "We have a deal." She said grumpily. We drove for another five minutes before I pulled into the school parking lot. Now I just have to get through these next few hours without getting into trouble. Before getting out I told Hanna I'll see her in the third hour. It sucked we only had two classes together but we made it work. I made a detour to my locker after a fellow classmate told me our teacher wasn't here. It wouldnt be long before the bell rings so there was no point in going to class. I grabbed my things and headed for the library. I found a spot to sit in the back of the room. I pulled out my notebook and began to browse through all the dreams and life experiences I wrote in it. I found it funny how many of these things I had. I didn't have much time to look through it before the bell rang. I put my notebook back in my bag and headed to English. This was one of the more boring classes that we had to take. I always got in trouble because I always fell asleep, but seriously it wasn't my fault that Mr. Clark was boring. Don't get me wrong he was the hottest teacher we had at the age of twenty-six but that wasn't going to make me stay up the entire class period. After I did my work for the day I put it in the bin and fell asleep waiting for the bell to ring. As I closed my eyes I saw the same girl from my dream last night. Why couldn't I get her out of my head? What did all this mean? And why is it happening now? I couldn't stop all these questions from popping into my mind. I racked my brain trying to see if I could remember this girl and I think I remembered something but I wasn't sure. I'd be sure to ask Hanna when I saw her. But I was sure it was her. It had to be there couldnt be any other explanation as to who this girl was to start was.
