Prologue
My name is Elle Olsen, I am 20 years old.
I'm gonna tell you a story. A story about love, hope, faith, forgiveness and friendship.
My friends are going to help me. I can't tell this whole story all by myself. It's too big for one person to tell. I hope my friends and I can get you to understand our story and understand the important things in life.
'Cause this isn't a happily ever after story. This is a story about life and appreciating the most smallest things you have and a story about losses. It’s a story about friendship and love. It sounds cliché and maybe it is, but life is cliché so why would that be a bad thing?
When I was young, I thought that I could never experience the pain I've been through. Pain that makes me wake up during the nights, screaming for the pain to go away. I thought I knew everything about life, but like most young people, I was very wrong. I don’t think I even knew how wrong I was.
With my story I want to shed some light, there is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to get through it.
