It was now Tuesday, the first day of my exclusion. Giovanni was mad at me for a little while just like any guardian would be but after about half hour, he just excepted it, all the others just annoyed and teased me about it.

It was 9:30 so I decided to go for a swim in our pool for a bit since I had nothing better to do.

I quickly changed into my blue and white bikini and ran down stairs. The water was refreshingly cold and felt nice. I swam a couple lengths and then relaxed on the blow-up bed while listening to my music. When it became 10:30 I got out and went to get changed. I put on my blue jeans and black top, I didn't want to over dress I just wanted to seem casual plus that outfit is good for all activities because I didn't know what was going to happen today.

I was relaxing in my bedroom going through f*******: when I got a request from Ryder. I didn't have many friends on f*******:, just a few from when I was younger who thought I was living with my uncle, none of them even knew the truth. The only thing they knew about was my mum’s death.

Ryder-hey babe

Me-hey, do you realise I'm not your babe

Ryder- well you might not think so yet, but you will give in soon

Me- we will see about that

Ryder- I guess we will sweetheart

Me- what did you want anyway?

Ryder- make sure you meet me at 12:30 at Danny's cafe. I wanted to remind you

Me- yes, I remember

Ryder- good, I will see u late babe

Me-stop with the babe!

Ryder-babe?

Me-what?

Ryder- see you are my babe because you answered to it

Me- .... Smart ass

It was now 12:00 so I decided to leave,

"where do you think you’re going?" Asked Antonio

"out" I answered.

"I don't think so, you were excluded from school, so you must stay home, get back upstairs before Giovanni notices" he replied.

"No, I need to go out" I exclaimed.

"Where?" Asked Giovanni walking around the corner.

"To meet Ryder, relax I'm just carrying on the mission. I'm not going to let school ruin it for us" I answered.

"Fine go, you better not be lying" he ordered.

"I promise, see you later" I said waving.

I arrived at Danny's cafe to see Ryder already there waiting by the door. I walked over to him smiling. I had to fake being happy, uh I can't be bothered to do this today, but I have too, Giovanni is already kind of annoyed with me.

I must make this up to him, "hey" I greeted.

He smirked and opened the cafe door for me. "Want to sit here?" He asked walking other to the booth by the window.

"Sure" I said sitting down.

"So why did u want me to come out then?" I asked.

"I just thought, since your banned from school and I'm skiving that I may as well be with you and save you from being bored" he answered.

"How do you know that I'm not going to be bored with you though?" I asked back.

"Because I'm amazing" he replied cockily. "ha, funny" I said back sarcastically. Then the waiter came over and we both ordered.

"So, tell me about yourself" he told me.

"What you want to know?" I asked back.

"tell me about your life" he answered.

I didn't want to tell him much, I didn't trust him and I'm on a mission, so I can't say anything too personal.

"Well I live with my uncle, I'm 17 and my birthday is on 18th September. There's nothing much to tell, I’m just a normal person" I explained.

"If you don't mind me asking, why do you live with your uncle?" He asked.

Uh he asked the question that I hated the most.

"I just chose to because my parents are working a lot and I have always been close to my uncle plus I wanted to travel and live I'm different places" I lied.

"Both parents work then?" He asked. That's kind of what I just said.

"Yeh, why?" I asked back. Why was he so bothered about me? Then I saw him look at the table and twiddle his thumbs.

"I uh, don’t know how to say this but I kind of found out on your f*******: that your mum..." He paused for a second.

Oh no I didn't think about all the comments saying sorry for your loss. s**t. Oh well I guess I just Got to lie some, more.

"Died" he finished.

I gave him a reassuring smile, I knew he felt bad mentioning it but to be honest I didn't mind. I had come to terms about what happened, of course it still makes me sad and I miss her but what happened has happened and there's nothing we can do to change it.

"Yeh, she did. But uh my dad re-married and I sometimes forget she's my step mum, so I just say she's my parent, you know" I lied again.

well actually he might be re-married, but I haven't heard from him since I was 9 for all I know he could be dead.

"Yeh, I'm sorry for asking. My mum left my dad about 5 years ago when my dad started uh... Doing different business" he said.

I knew exactly what business he meant

" but my dad re-married a lady called Diana, she's nice and I get along good with her. She really makes my family happy." He said.

I didn't want to be too nosy today, so I decided I would find out more information as I go along. We talked for a little longer about general stuff until we decided to go to a secrete hidden place that he apparently always goes to.

We came to some woods that has a stone path leading up the hill. "Come on" he said walking ahead

"If you’re going to try and kill me, I should warm you. I know karate" I laughed.

But the truth is I was way deadlier then he would ever imagine. We walked through a field before coming to a cliff edge. It was now like 2:50, the water was crashing on the rocks that's surrounded a small beach. We climbed down the cliff, Ryder had found a way down that's was basically just a grass bank.

We then went to sit on a big washed up tree on the beach.

"It's so beautiful here" I said watching the waves coming in.

"Yeh it is" he said back "how did you find this place?" I asked.

"Well uh I was walking and then I came across it" he answered looking down scratching his head.

I could tell he was lying, it's a skill I Picked up from Giovanni, he taught me how to tell when a person is lying.

"You can tell me the truth you know" I said placing a hand on his knee. He looked at me and smiled,

"I was going through some things and I was fed up and didn't really want to live anymore so I was trying to find a good place to end everything but then I found this place, there's just something about it that makes me feel happier and gives me strength, I sound so corny" he said laughing a little at the end.

"No, but seriously though, you can always talk to me. I know I seem like a b***h especially after what I did to chase but I promise you can trust me" I replied.

I had to keep going on about how he could talk to me so that I could know all his secretes. I was starting to feel bad, I was using him. Uh I have to take that thought out my head.

"You’re the only one I have showed this place to and the only one I told all that too so please don't tell anyone, I'm begging you" he said.

"I won't" I said smiling. I lied again. He's starting to trust me. Yay. The mission will be over soon! I can't wait.

"Tag" I said smacking his arm and jumping of the tree. We chased each other for a while playing tag until he grabbed me, but I tripped and pulled him down on top of me. I'm so stupid and it was a complete accident.

He put his hands and knees on the floor stopping his weight from landing on me. He stayed hovering above me staring at me. "I'm sorry" I laughed.

"Don't be" he said smiling, then he started leaning in. Our lips collided, and I could feel my heart beat racing. This time our kiss didn't feel forced and it seemed more natural.

I felt his tongue lick my bottom lip asking for entrance with I gladly allowed and opened my mouth. Then I realised what was happening, no. I was making it too easy and I couldn't like kissing him. I had to stop it, so I pushed him up a bit and we separated.

"Come with me" he said standing up then helping me up.

"Where?" I asked.

"to my house, don't worry I won't do anything to you" he said leading me. "Ok" I laughed.

We then arrived at his house, we went into the living room "would you like a drink?" He asked.

"Yeh, just water please" I said, and he walked out into the living room. I them started looking at some pictures on his fireplace, there was some of Ryder when he was little, and some of him a little girl. who's that? I wondered. They both looked alike, she was a couple years younger than him. Then he walked back in.

"Here" he said handing the glass. "Thanks" I said, but I them heard another door open so I turned to look. Oh s**t!

"Katie?!" She asked unsure

"Diana?!" I asked back
