Cassie’s POV
Mallory pushed me, with the gun at my back, to the rooftop of the hospital building. I didn’t understand what she wanted to do with me.
Perhaps she wanted to throw me from the seventh-floor terrace to the ground and make it look like a suicide, not a homicide caused by her. I was still crying because having a gun pointed at me made me tremble with fear.
"This is all your fault. I warned you to stay away from Joshua!" she said, trying to blame me.
