When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the whiteness of the ceiling, and I soon realized that I was in the hospital. I blinked my eyes slightly, feeling the headache, and reached my hand to my forehead, noticing that it was bandaged. At that moment, I remembered the accident and the trauma I had suffered. It was like a miracle to wake up alive because I truly thought I was going to die.
"Hello...?" I tried to get someone's attention, but my voice came out hoarse, and all I could hear were the beeping sounds of the hospital machines. A woman wearing a white lab coat came into my view, smiling gently at me.
"You're finally awake," she rejoiced, and proceeded to examine me. As she was a doctor, probably one of the doctors who took care of me.
