While I was at Cassandra’s apartment gathering some belongings she had asked me to get and bring to her at the hospital, I decided to take a quick shower and change clothes. As soon as Cassie woke up, she showed slight discomfort at seeing me in the same clothes as the day before and insisted that I needed to take care of myself even though she was in the hospital.
She wanted me to remember to take a shower, eat, and do everyday things and not waste away just because she was in the hospital. I only managed to smoke a cigarette after the shower, not being focused enough to eat. I would eat something as soon as I was with her at the hospital.
